New Manga & 'Awesome' New Word

| Thanks to our hard work and lax child-labour laws in our respective countries, we, the manga staff (leoxjm and I) are proud to declare that we are awesome. We are awesome and everyone else reading this is also awesome. We are so awesome, scientists had to make up a whole new category of awesome just to describe how awesome we really are.
They call it 'McLovin'.
So this time around, be sure to thank the 'McLovin' folks at Eternal Blue, Illumaniti-manga and Kuro-Hana for their awesome work.

Spotlight Preview - To-LoveRu ~ Trouble

Last week we posted our Spring 2008 Anime Guide, a quick glance of all the new shows that started in April. Now that the season is five weeks old, we can begin our highlights of what we feel to be exceptional above the others. To kick off this phase of the season, I, Website Content Administrator xenocrisis0153, present my look at the first few episodes of To-LoveRu ~ Trouble, the 26-episode sci-fi romantic-comedy ecchi series by Studio XEBEC about a boy who inadvertantly becomes engaged to an alien princess. I did say this was ecchi, right?

Spring 2008 Anime Guide

We wouldn't be your anime source if we didn't offer up a complete preview guide to what's new at the start of the Spring season. April marks the start of the new line-up, and with tons of new series coming out at rapid-fire, it helps to have a handle on what you should be focusing on and what you can probably avoid. Time (and disc-space) is precious, so be sure to spend it on quality anime. Our staff here has compiled a list complete with our recommendations. Read through and see if there's any cool shows you might want to check out. And if you agree or disgree with any of our reviewers, be sure to leave a comment!!

It's been a busy-week behind the scenes here at Anime-Source. We have a lot of projects underway, including a new survey, a new recognition system for the dedicated fan-reviewers, the Spring 2008 Preview Guide, and even a new contest. Lots of new manga scanlations have been pouring out, so be sure to check those out, too. Keep watching the homepage as announcements will be posted throughout the next few days.
