It was nice to have that feel-good, fuzzyness at the end of each episode. It was soley from the ending song which was soothing, though it had some weird areas, specifically the "ta-dai-ma" part. It just seemed off.
Asatte no Houkou had an attractive plot, although the only major interest was the beginning and end. Trying to remember back at this anime (which wasn't too long ago...), there weren't any extreme events. This had a laid back "slice-of-life" feel, even if it has some supernatural elements. I enjoyed watching this anime, but the bigger reason for watching it was because I wanted to know how it ends ^^;
The instrumentals for the OP and ED songs are pretty (but minimal). I especially like the very beginning of the OP song. The background music was not used a lot, but this is good because there was pretty much no action-y scenes, so no fitting moments. Although for the more dramatic events, the music wasn't a distraction.
Love the character designs, and the scene backdrops. No exquisite detail in either of the two, but it was just so attractive. The colours weren't very vibrant, but they had an angle of radiance, kind of like choosing "overlay" in photoshop after blurring a layer...
ANYWAY,
Good anime, the art was pretty, and I enjoyed watching just what would happen. Though don't know if I'd recommend this, since it doesn't really stand out in any aspect. | |
