Yumedamaya Kidan was a charming short film. There wasn't much tone in most of the art, but I really enjoyed their choice of colour. The style of this OVA was very neat. I really enjoyed what I saw. Visually, it was very appealing, especially when the Sphere Dealer would show off his collection of colourful marbles.
The story wasn't a marveling new concept; but it was well entertaining. I kinda knew the direction sense and how Naho would behave, although there were a couple of surprises here and there.
What I really enjoyed was the art (I'm repeating myself). There were some background scenes that were quite creative, especially the dream sequences. They were nifty and whimsical-like. At least, only Jun's dreams.
They ended things quite nicely, and it wasn't as predictable as I thought it would be. The producers still drove great interest throughout this OVA. It's something I'd recommend watching, just for fun. | |
