Sin in the Rain had an engaging style that I can't describe. Perhaps it was the excellent clarity with each sound effect, the choices in the camera angles, or even the attractive (and realistic looking) characters. Whatever it was, this title presented itself nicely without asking for too much attention. Don't think much people know of this title.
It's always nice to open yourself to a murder mystery story, and play the detective as the story comes along. Unfortunately, Sin in the Rain does not give you any helpful hints and instead ends quite abruptly. The execution gave no chase and there was quite a bit of dialogue.
There really aren't any second guessing puzzle games here, the end comes to a slight shocker, but I didn't expect for the OVA to end at all... if that makes any sense. A great production in sound, art, and animation; but Sin in the Rain was just too short to create a solid opinion for its story and characters. | |
