This movie was ok. The plot was interesting, however, it didn't really meet my full expectancy. The characters were well made, but it seemed as if they were taken from another series. Though it wasn't your average, "parents dead, no friends and a loner character that fights to get revenge". It is the other catagory of "fighting to save the human race". The animation was top-notch though. Everything was smooth, and it all flowed together, I didnt really noticed anything about the sounds, except that they were creative with the demons and such. But besides that, it is a decent movie. Not worth dling on 56k, but good enough to watch it when you can.

I wouldn't exactly classify this as anime... but the same thing goes for Wonderful Days. This wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would of been when I looked at the DVD cover... but it wasn't really that good either. Like Kaiser said in his DVD review there was just to much stuff rushed because of the fact it was made into a movie. The story was allright but everything happened so quickly, the romance of Hope, the fall of Hope and the rise of Lady Death flashed by and left me scratching my head. Also the quick pacedness made it nearly impossible for any of the characters to be developed. Once you start getting to know Hope a bit her character is drasticly changed into the warrior Lady Death. The other characters were even worse. They were all pretty much one dimensional... and I'm sure in the comics they were more crucial. The animation in this movie was a definate high point though. It was done with a slight anime style so any 'anime only' mindset person would actually be able to bare through it.

Overall I give this movie a 6 out of 10. It wasn't bad but it could of been so much more if it was given a bit more time.

I don't know if I would call this anime but whatever. This is pretty much an American attempt at making anime, and it wasn't that bad. The story was probably the best part of the whole thing and it revolved around a daughter of Lucifer, that decided that she will kill her dady :)

The amount of time definitley did not give the story enough time to develop, leading to very quick changes in plot and making me dislike the show a lot more than when I started watching it. It could easily be streched out into a series, but I hope that won't happen. The animation was ok. It looked very clean, actually too clean which made the whole thing look too freaky and not in a good way. The characters were drawn with a style similar to Japanese animation but a few characters reminded me too much of Hercules and some other American superhero cartoons.

With all of the other things distracting me while watching this "anime", I didn't really listened to the music so I cannot comment on it. Overall I am really happy that I only rented this show because it's definitely not worth the money.
