Inspiration is the most outstanding characteristic here!
-Story (10/10): Don't be turned away in the beginning of the plot, it develops with a BANG.
-Animation (9/10): Its seems that the anime was drawn in one stroke in the "Prologue" (like i call it) but something consisting that there was a change in companies had to do with the animation difference which helped the series.
-Music (7/10): Average songs, it has its moments but nothing that will blow up your pants.
-Characters (9/10): Has good wide variety of characters and does not give to many flashbacks more than needed, that I find extremely hard to avoid but they manage to do it.
-Inspiration (10/10): I know its an odd classification, but in this series it has great influence and concerning the inspiration, it has an effect on the viewer which is mere excitement since the beginning of the series even without knowing whats going on, you scream excitement.
Overall; 9.5
I recommend this anime to those folks that enjoy series that just make you scream Praise THE MIGHTY LORD!

I simply don’t understand why this anime gets such a low rating, considering its overall very unique, funny and with one of the best anime characters created: The protagonist, Ueki.
Storyline 8/10
A kid obtains a special power, then fights other kids with similar powers, ever heard that before? Bet you did. BUT the story revolving this one is particularly very unique, with conditions of using there powers, limitations to them, etc, makes the fights very interesting to watch. The storyline suffers a few twists that keeps the story fresh and interesting.
Music: 10/10
The Openings and the Endings themes are awesome, and the music in the anime mixs up particulary well.
Animation 10/10
The colors are very bright and vivid, while the animation is shard when fighting. The bright colors are very noticeable when somebody is using there power, sometimes a little too bright on the eyes.
Characters: 9/10
The are quite a lot of characters, each that are given a chance to shine at the spotlight, But there is nobody better than the zoomed out, care free, ueki. Man I simply love this character. I will not go any deeper in order to avoid spoiling ya,
In the end Ueki, is a very good anime, recommendable to a wide public, Be it a child, or a teen and maybe adults, whoever you are, just go watch the Law of Ueki

So this anime is basically about a girl named Mori who one day sees a classmate use some supernatural power. She is totally convinced that her classmate, Ueki Kousuke, is an alien that has come to earth from a different planet to destroy Earth. Soon, she gets involved in a battle between people that have "Heavenly Powers" like Ueki. The whole point of the battle is to become the next GOD!!!!
The storyline is pretty good.
I have to say that the voices and songs are plain bad. The voices don't suit the characters most of the time.
The characters generally each have their own unique personality. Though sometimes the "I will protect my friends no matter what!!! Even if I die!!!!" coming from Ueki can get pretty annoying. Sometimes their personalities make it funny though.
I would have to say that the animation could use some work. The guys' eyes are just weird because they are only tiny dots. The good thing about the animation is that the blood is not vivid, bright red.
I would recommend this anime to anyone who can stand the sight of a little bit of blood and likes uber cool fights.

Actually the Anime "law of Ueki" is a superb anime though the storyline is just the regular kid fighting anime the combination of hilarious fighting seens where the main character (though in apperance may look extremely stupid) has a actually a very high battle sense. Combined with his abilities and ideals that greatly influence any friend or foe, he puts up quite a show .
Although the animation is not exactly top notch the elements of action drama (in certain episodes) comedy makes up for it.

This anime is one of the few that have kept me excited and most of the times, on my toes from the beginning until the end.
The opening and ending songs are actually one of the best i have heard since i begun to watch anime series. I loved them, download them and enjoy them.
The plot of the series is quite good with action filled episodes. Believe me, you wont get bored not even once. In every episode you will see 1 or 2 battles taking place. It really leaves you no time for relaxation and i loved that. Action action action. And it gets better as you go. You may see it as a bit stupid at the beginning but when you get from episode 5 and beyond, trust me it will get better with every episode and you get a lot of comedy to go along with all that action.
The characters are well developed but you don't get any romance scenes. This is an anime that is all about friendship.
The only problem i saw with the plot was that, in my opinion, the ending was a bit rushed and hasty. But that does not mean it wasn't good, i enjoyed it a lot.
The animation ( is that how you guys call it?), was very VERY good. All those attacks and weapons and abilities had a unique and clean design. Very good indeed.
As for sound, the voices actors did a hell of a job. Each character had a voice that suited him. Also you will hear some voices i am sure you all know and love so check it out.
Overall this anime rocks and i have no doubt in my mind that if you are an action lover you will love it. The thing that makes it more perfect is the amount of feelings you get from it. Anger, hate, love, all of those are feelings you will get to feel. So i recommend it without any hesitation.
Overall : 8/10

Storyline : About Fighting ... Kosuke Ueki can turn trash into trees and he also have the power of Heavenly Good . (8/10)
Music : Ending Music of this anime is what I like most. It can make you feel like you have a Energy Beneath You! . If you hear the ending song it's really cool, it makes me happy though. (8.5/10)
Characters : Kosuke Ueki the main character and the most powerfull in the team. He is Caring and is the leadership's leader ... he also has the power of intelligence . (7/10)
Animation : The Effects are almost real, but still has clashes of effects when they have an expression. Like when he's thinking the expressions are not really good. (8/10)
Overall : This Story touches the heart of a man about fighting, friendship and patience . I also cannot miss watching all the episodes once again . (8/10)

I have no idea why the rating for this is so low. Yeah sure it is stupid but it's hilarious because of its stupidity. This anime is definately worth watching and although it is kind of dumb but I have noticed that many people found it addictive although they claim it is a dumb show.
Fights:
VERY INTERESTING and entertaining. Its also sometimes funny when they fight but mostly the fights are impressive and they don't use back the same old moves atleast.
Soundtrack:
Its nice. I like the song of this anime and have most of them in my media player.
The Characters:
The characters are decent and nice. Especially Ueki who is extremely stuborn and never ever gives up. He is also hilarious in many ways which you will have to see for yourselves in the show.
Overall:
Its a very nice and unique, in its own way. Its definately a anime worth watching and enjoying.

Law of Ueki starts off with a battle between two kids with some of the strangest powers I've ever seen (which is saying quite a bit) reminiscent of quest world in the Real Adventures of Johnny Quest.
Strange as that was though, the story turns out to be even stranger. Much stranger. "Gods" are apparently holding a tournament to see who will be the next supreme dude in their hierarchy, and to do so they must find high-school kids who are willing to fight for them using strange, strange powers. The main character, for example, has the power to turn trash into trees. The protagonist has the power to make bubbles that increase or reduce the weight of anything. What? @_@ Was my first impression of this anime, and it turns out, it was also the last.
So that's the plot. It looks like it was thrown together in a hurry and not very well thought through, but they could have done worse. (5/10)
Animation is so-so, not bad but nothing special. (5/10)
As for character development, the only person who actually gets significant development is the main character Ueki, and even then he seems quirky and inconsistent. Kobayashi (Ueki's "god sponsor") and Ueki's girl sidekick get fleshed out some as well, but they also end up being inconsistent. Villains get no character development whatsoever, and conform to the established villain archetypes. (4/10)
Fortunately, voice acting was pretty good. On the side, I think somebody from Full Metal Alchemist did Ueki's voice. (6/10)
And all that averages very nicely to (5/10), which translates to: Watch if bored.

Another fighting anime...kids with different powers fighting each other again...how typical, right?
Wrong.
The Law of Ueki may share quite a few traits with other shounen titles, but it certainly deserves credit in standing out. The characters are interesting, each having their own personal reasons for fighting. Ueki, being the kind of person who always wants to do what is right simply chooses to act on his own sense of justice. Also, the powers that these characters have are very unique. It isn't just that someone has the power to shoot fire or something; they have to change something else to create such feats. Ueki needs trash to create trees; Sano needs cloth to make iron. Using this allows for more strategy and creativity in their fights. The use of the zais is pretty good. Each contestant has so many special traits, traits that can be lost and gained during their fights. It makes for some entertaining moments in the story when these zais are put to use.
The music is surpriisngly enjoyable. The opening song, Falco by Hitomi Shimatani has this subtle middle eastern start but quickly flows into a upbeat pop tune. The ending song, Little Planets by Aiko Kayo is a standard nice, melodious tune to be expected of ending themes. The animation, though pretty simple, goes well with the anime, matching the manga style very well and improving on it.
Law of Ueki is an underestimated title among shounen anime and needs to be seen for a few episodes before judgement can be passed.

This anime seems like a mixture of several shounen series and the characters are nothing special.
The only thing that makes this series different from others is Ueki's strange ability to turn trash into trees. Using this useful ability for fighting looks always very strange and complicated ( wouldn't it be easier to use normal weapons? ).
The plot with new opponents appearing episode by episode quickly turns out to be boring or just not original. Some of the opponents are just ridiculous. The animation could be a bit better but it is okay.
All in all I can only give 4 of 10 points to this series because it seems like it desperately wanted to be original and just didn't manage to.
