Synopsis :
Capeta is a young boy who has shouldered many responsibilities since his dad works often. He washes the dishes, makes lunch, and generally takes care of the house. His general interest is cars and his dad takes note of it.
During work one day, Capeta's dad notices short-looking people riding small races. He soon finds out that they're kids! And about Capeta's age. He finds a scrap mobile in the ruins and decides to bring it home. Capeta's interest in cars grows even stronger and he possesses a talent in racing like no other.

Finally watched the last episode.. and it was Amazing!!
Capeta is the story of a young boy who falls in to the world of racing. He starts from carting and wants to work his way up to the F1. Through hardship, his friendship grows and so does his skill.
Races are done really well, there's not a single part in the show that you'd get bored of. Each scene gives meaning to the story.
Even if you are not a racing fan yourself, this show will still pull you in, and you will be able to connect to the characters quite easily.
It's so gripping, that you really wish you could somehow support Capeta through his tough times. The character animation style is a little different, but their facial expressions really come across rather nicely.
Now that all the episodes are released, I'm sure you won't be able to hold back until you've seen all the episodes in one go! I wouldn't recommend it though, cause of possible health issues.. you know what I mean.
To cap it all off, the ending is done really well!!!

It's really one of the best shows, if you give it a chance... I'm sure you'll agree with me.

I do not understand why this anime isn't in the reviews top 20 cause it's probally 1 of the best sports anime out there!
Iff you like Hajime no Ippo than you will adore Capeta!!
The anime has a lot of warmth in it and so far I have watched up to episode 42 and I'm eagerly waiting for episode 43!!
What's so inspiring about Capeta is that you get excited by Capeta's strong will and determination. I also like the way the story shows how Capeta his skills are improving even under harsh situations.
And even doh things might not go the way as planned you as a watcher will support Capeta all thru his journey!!
I also adore the characters his father is a hard-working darling and his best friends do everything in their power to help Capeta.
He also has a cute monkey called Reinhardt the third given to him by a very rich rival XD.
Another thing I really appreciate in this anime is that they start the story when Capeta is still a little boy. Even so I didn't feel that the story suddenly unnaturally sped up. It was very nicely done!
All and all if you like sports anime's please go watch this one you will not regret it!!!
OH about the artwork I LUV it..I adore the chubby noses it makes the characters much cuter and more human. And it's kinda nice to see an anime without pointy noses!

Capeta is one of the most inspiring and addicting anime's this year. It's about a kid named Capeta who likes driving Karts and mysteriously has the talent to be one of the best.
Action: If you like Initial D, but with Karts and not as serious, you'll like this anime.
Characters: I think the characters are very original, however cliche the show maybe. We have Capeta the star, his father, his childhood friend and some other guy. We also have his rival, forgot his name, and her mother who's very funny.
Music: I love the background music, it's very inspiring and uplifting. Not too sure about the OP, ED.
Overall: Give it a shot, you have nothing to lose, I'm surprised there's no reviews for this anime, there's already 9 episodes out. I won't say it's a MUST WATCH, but you'll enjoy it if you like inspiring and uplifting animes.
