A step aside from the overall plot of the series, this OVA deals with the groups attempt to fund a film by working in a hotel sited in the middle of nowhere. Whilst it does manage to be funny and at some points touching, its main strength lies in the interplay between Manaka and Satsuki. These two, evidently destined not to end up together given the enthesis the series puts on the other two main contenders for Manaka's heart, work so well together that you really do hope for a dramatic turnaround.
Animation is of the same standard as the rest of the series, and the same voice actors and score lend that flair that places this series at the top of my 'follow' list. Roll on the next release!
