Synopsis :
Futaba is a young girl who won a gift from the lottery. What she received was a large statue of some sort resembling a dog. Although she didn't like the gift, she was forced to take it and she named him "Gargoyle". Gargoyle's job is to be the gate keeper. He protects Futaba and her family and is able to sense a fixed distance of the town. He warns unfamiliar individuals (burned a newspaper boy) and is able to understand animal speech.
Futaba and her neighbors get into all sorts of trouble. The problems are serious (ex. burglary) but Gargoyle approaches them in a comical way.

when you already watch Kamikashi and Full Metal Panic and a bit ot Full metal Alchemic the story kinda like that ...
The drawing is like Kashimashi not to mention the character ...
The Gargoyle is like some otaku war from Full Metal Panic ...
The part of story is also like Full metal alchemist ...
Storyline:
Since I mention the 3 titles above ... it's quite clear it have some humor in it ... but undobtly that it might take into some serious part too ... but it's not like it's bad or like that, it's just isn't my style maybe ... but since the story is quite original ...

Art and animation :
it's quite nice actually ... though at some part it's better if they put smoother drawing and such ... but it's still one of the good anime ... the char is also drawn quite nicely ... there's a few digital picture over here and there ...

Characters:
This one is nice, seruoisly those futaba is like Tomari from Kashimashi and Gargoyle is kinda like Sagara Souske from FMP ... not to mention some kind of mixed char and drawing within it ... it's quite interesting >o<

Well, it's quite interesting and if you didn't know what next anime you want to watch, you might try this one ... it's not too much childish and didn't have too heavy story either ...
