I understand the concept behind this project as this is supposed to to be war captured by a camera. However, I must say that it far from satisfies.
Plot 5/10:
Original but not entertaining. It's pretty much a documentary of a make-believe war. The politics are alright but the story is just not entertaining. They tried to make it an inspiring anime but really it is nothing but a poor excuse for a half assed job. Incorporating still shots and sounds with violent actions, they tried to make a comparrasion of how immoral or depressing these events were. A creative endevear that fell flat on its face. More then anything, these events were annoying because of it.
Animation 3/10:
The still shots that are supposed to be camera shots are a poor excuse for poor animation. For 1/2 the time all the scenes are pictures. The drawing style is sub-par and rather emotionless. They made the actions really terribely. Theres a after-image effect in some parts, intended or not it does not bide well. Their comparrasions vexed me to the point that I could not stand watching the 1st, 2nd or 3rd episode completely.
Audio 5/10:
Some of the sounds were good but more then anything they were really annoying. The op/ed wasn't hateworthy but the sfx is.
Don't watch. That's all I have to say.
