Basically a story of three sisters. The oldest is a responsible, loving, mother figure. The middle sister is an irresponsible idiot with too much energy. The youngest is very smart and way too serious for her own good. This is a fairly pointless anime, but it was still very funny and quite enjoyable.
The good:
I don't think there was a character that I didn't like in this anime. Each and every character was unique and hilarious in their own way.
The music really suited this anime. I didn't really love the music, but it fit very well with the mood.
The animation was very good in this one. Not the best I've seen, but very well done nonetheless.
The bad:
It took me a while to really like this one. It was a bit different from what I've seen before so I took a while for me to identify with the humor.
This doesn't really deduct many points because style was very original and it was still very funny.
There was not too much plot in this one. For me, if it isn't a drama, it doesn't necessarily have to have too much plot for me to enjoy it. While it did not bother me, it may be considered a flaw by some.
Overall:
This was a solid anime. It may not have had much plot, but it was hilarious. I'll give this one an 8/10.

Minami Ke A pointless anime may want you to turn away and never look at it again, don't beacuase it's freaking hilarious.
The animation is toon-like, it suits the comedic atmosphere.
The music seems boring but the OP and ED suit it well.
The characters are all unique some are mature some are not. You can definitely pick a favorite out in the end and there will definitely find one you can relate to and you can definitely compare them with friends or family.
There you have it. A pointless review for a pointless but funny anime this is just something you can relax to and watch when your bored or have time to kill which is kind of what makes it perfect. This anime is the first ever "going absolutely nowhere" anime that I've seen and it makes me want to see more like lucky star. This is something id definitely recommend even if it may sound like I'm just trashing it... I'm honestly not. Saying that it's pointless is pretty much just a given.

Story
Well, there isn’t really one since it’s just about the daily lives of the 3 sisters and their interactions and relations with their friends.
Animation/Graphics/Design : 87%
Among the simplest animes I’ve ever watched, but also among one of the finest comedies/ slice-of-life. No exaggerations, just simple events of daily live, so simple, some being so normal that it has probably happened to many of us before… … yet made in such a way that is hilarious!
The character design is also pretty simple, but highly effective in bringing out the essence of the series—bright, cheerful, light atmosphere.(and are attractive too) The personalities of the characters are also very engaging and unique. I especially love Kana and her ridiculously insensible antics.
Although there is no over the top gags (eg School Rumble with their exaggerated actions and expressions, which are common in comedies) it still had me laughing. Also, unlike usual comedies that like to make references to other anime trends and such (thus very otaku-oriented—eg Lucky Star), this one doesn’t: hence casual anime viewers can enjoy this series without missing out on anything.
Music: 97%
I love the OP and ED, which are cheery and energetic just like the anime itself.
The background music throughout the series is pleasant and cheerful.
A "feel-good" and "aww~~ so sweet" type of anime. A highly enjoyable anime. Certainly worth watching!
Personal overall rating: 93%

Minami-ke is a fun, enjoyable glimpse into the lives of the 3 Minami sisters, and their friends. Almost manic at times in large part because of the middle sister Kana. In fact I'd have to say that any review of Minami-ke would be incomplete without mentioning the obvious comparison of Kana to Miu from Strawberry Marshmallow.
When I first began watching the show, I initially thought, the animation is ok, but nothing outstanding. However occasionally, when the characters are being serious, they will give a look that I can't recall seeing anywhere else. At first this was irritating, later, it became endearing and enjoyable to see.
As another reviewer mentioned, the 1st episode was particularly good, being very effective at drawing me in. However some of the next episodes were not nearly as good. Still, this series as a whole was very enjoyable and fun to watch. I especially enjoyed all the characters. From the guy who is forced to crossdress in order to be around the girl he admires, to each of the 3 sisters who are quite frankly the most entertaining trio I can remember seeing in any show, and of even the characters on their favorite TV program. All the characters were fun to watch, even the disturbing Volleyball Senpai who is obsessed with the oldest sister Haruka.
Overall I definitely recommend this show. Particularly if you enjoyed Strawberry Marshmallow or Lucky Star. This humorous slice of life drama is definitely worth your time.

Minami-ke really attracted me with its first episode. But with the next few episodes, I’ve thought that the series kinda lost its hype from the first, which makes me feel kind of cheated; but gradually, and luckily, I somewhat began to appreciate its brand of humor, which makes it… rather good.
Plot
No plot series. The show features the three Minami sisters, hence the name Minami-ke (Minami house?). Later in the series more characters join in, mainly schoolmates of either sisters.
Story Style
Well, for a comedy series this isn’t really that funny. But with a key character like Kana, whose personality resembles Miu from Ichigo Mashimaro, her own style of antics makes most times rather amusing. But unlike Ichigo Mashimaro which relies heavily on Miu to sell the show, other characters with their distinct personalities also help inject humor into each scene.
If you didn’t find the show funny, try heeding the warning in the first 14 seconds of each episode; “do not expect too much…"
Quality
For a new studio, their animations are rather good. Probably due to the near-complete absence of background details in the manga, they have the chance to get creative… probably. Well, although apart from the first episode when Kana jumped on the table, there isn’t really any great animation scenes.
Their songs are awesome. While not only creating cheery feeling for the series, the songs are also pretty nice by itself. A pity the same can’t be said for the second season…
Overall
Like I’ve said, do not expect too much, and you’ll likely to enjoy this. That “warning" is a strategy also perhaps? 4.5 for quality, 4.5 for enjoyment, scoring a 9. Highly recommended.

What can I say, slice of life comedy at its finest; though in this case the comedy aspect takes front stage and the slice of life is secondary which in my opinion is a good thing as it makes the show a lot funnier than your normal slice of life anime. Minami-ke has definitely been the surprise/sleeper hit of this year for me. Randomly came across it and immediately fell in love with the characters and antics of the show.
This anime is very easy to get into. All you need is a basic understanding of the girls' characteristics and you’re ready for a very enjoyable and fun (but unfortunately short) ride. Unlike the other Slice of Life hit of this year you don’t need to have previous knowledge of other anime or the otaku culture, so everyone from die-hard anime fans to newcomers can easily enjoy the show and get a good laugh out of it.
As you might expect you don’t get elaborate plots as setup for the jokes; Minami-ke basically hinges on the interactions between the show's characters as they go about their daily activities. That being said events are not all random and the show is not just a collection of snap-shot jokes; the story actually follows a clear path and is centered around certain events instead of just conversations between the characters.
All in all this is a fantastic comedy. Don't expect a laugh out loud riot since it is still technically slice of life, but no comedy fan should pass up on the opportunity to watch this show. Minami-ke gets an 8.5 from me.
