Wait, is this really good anime for fangirls? I don't think so. Even though I like bishies and shounen-ai animes, I find this anime irritating. Rather than enjoying it, I found it more like a junk.
The only bad thing in this anime is the characters; although they're handsome, their personalities are just so bad that I couldn't keep on watching. Believe me, I skipped most of the scenes till I reached the end.
I can't say much for the story. It wasn't that good nor entertaining to look forward to while watching the anime. The way characters are dealing with each other are...ugh...they will give you a headache. Lovey-dovey scenes occur over nothing.
Save your time and watch other animes instead of wasting it with this one. Don't be deceived by the good looking men. Totally not worth your time.

I'm sorry. I'm not a yaoi lover.
The best way to describe Kirepapa in my opinion is... typical. Typical. Typical. Typical. For all of these productions, it's the "If you've seen one, you've seen them all" type of staple. There's always a seductive 'dominating' character while there is a submissive naive one. Although this title sort of trailed out of that cookie cutter by inputting those traits in the non-leading roles.
Kirepapa had some entertainment value. For one it had those sparkly shoujo art along with bishie character design. The tone and lighting of this title was also very impressive. Art aspect: good. There are some unique character traits such as the malicious glee from the main character. However, the script and dialogue was very, very typical.
If you've kept up with me (I'm sure no one has...) you may ask, "if you dislike yaoi so much, why do you keep watching it?". Well, it's not that I entirely dislike yaoi, I'm just not so keen about. And in all honesty, I watch so I can take screenshots for the A-S database since I'm sure the male staff wouldn't want to be stuck watching this stuff. Hah!
I wouldn't recommend this. Perhaps if you're one of those yaoi fangirls. I'll admit that this is the "better half" of what is out there. For just one episode, they have a concise storyline and gave a few interesting surprises. Still, this will not be valuable to me, or memorable.

The story of Kirepapa is really sweet…. with a healthy dose of hilarity. The main character Takatsukasa Chisato is a bit of a scattered brained author who lives alone with his son Riju. He is beautiful, as Riju’s friend often mistakes him for his "older sister" but in fact is a possessive man who resorts to dirty tactics (such using laxatives in cakes) to keep Riju’s friends, who he feels will take advantage of Riju, away. He is mostly successful except for a boy named Sakiki Shunsuke who endured his cruelty for four years but who still keeps coming back. The thing I liked about this story was that angst and violence was kept to a minimum. And though a bit over melodramatic at times I still loved the way Shunsuke kept trying to seduce Chisato….
The music throughout the episode was okay too… The seductive ones to the light romantic note they have done well… Though I would have preferred a more seductive note during the love scene between Chisato and Shunsuke rather then the light hearted ones.
The animation is quite detailed and very colorful, typical of todays very high standards. Though I felt Chisato could have been given a more androgynous look (as most of Riju’s friend mistake him for his older sister).
Chisato is a really funny character, with his chibi form popping up from time to time while Shunsuke with his silent seductive looks was simply amazing. Riju, now that is a character I would like to know more about in the coming episode. The side characters were also well placed.
This is one of the good works in a long line yaoi anime and earns its place in my list of the top five animes. This story is seduction, romance and fun all rolled into one… a must see for yaoi lovers.
