Junjou Romantica is one of the most interesting animes I've ever seen. I found the anime much better than the manga. Unlike other yaoi animes which talk about one man who fell in love with a musician or his classmate, centering the whole plot around him and the one he loves, Junjou Romantica talks about three different stories about three different boys with their complexities and difficulties.
Misaki, Shinobu, and Hiro-san are the three main characters. Although I'm only interested in Misaki and Usagi-san, I don't quite hate the others, but their stories not good enough to look forward to. Misaki's story, falling in love with his big brother's friend and the famous novelist Usagi-san (as he calls him), was what attracted me to continue on watching it. And about Hiro-san being a teacher and falling for a student, I forgot his name, sorry - lame. I mean if he were the one doing lovey dovey things, I would've loved it, but rather he was the victim. Shinobu, on the other hand, falling for a married man, gave me this chilly feelings and I dropped him.
The second season was much better. They got deeper into Usagi-san's family life and it got amusing as they introduced his brother.
It had so many funny and lovely, delicious scenes. I really enjoyed it.
The OP and ED song and theme were nice, but I skipped them most of the time.
Definitely not a watchable anime for non-yaoi lovers. If you don't mind kissing and hugging, then watch the second season. If not, at least don't miss the funny parts.
