Synopsis :
One Outs. A game played by a rowdy group, mostly Americans from the military. The game goes like this: It's a match between the pitcher and the batter. The one at bat must hit the ball outside of the in-field to win, otherwise, the pitcher wins.
Kojima is a world star baseball player. He travels to Okinawa to improve his skills. While practising with his camp, Nakane, his colleague is injured. This is bad news, Kojima heavily relies on this camp to hone his skills. The camp desperately searches for another pitcher. That is where they encounter a dodgy looking baseball field and they are introduced to One Outs.
There, they meet a wild looking Toua Tokuchi. He pulls bluffs and unbelievable speeds. But asking for Toua's assistance is literally a gamble.

After watching some baseball animes, this is definitely the best. I recommend it to those people who loves logic, gambling and of course, baseball.
Story: 10/10
One Outs made baseball on a different level of sport. It's a battle of wits and strategies between the players who knows the true meaning of "winning". From the first episode until the last, you will be addicted to it.
Animation: 10/10
It was really great. Every game you can feel that you belong to the one of the spectators and waiting for a Home run. Plus you will be a fan of Tokuchi. Their movements are very detailed and there's nothing you can ask for.
Characters: 9/10
Even this is a really great anime, there are still some annoying characters like Brooklyn. But still, Tokuchi is one of the best character ever made in an anime, for his looks, personality and his dedication in baseball.
Music: 9/10
The opening song is just good. There maybe some lack of sound effects in the anime but still, a great anime to watch.
Overall: 9/10
After watching it, you will grow because of the lessons learned in this anime. The true meaning of "winning" is just amazing. This is a very memorable anime for me and deserves to be watched by all. This is truly a keeper.

Highly recommended. Whether you like sports/sports anime or not, you will definitely like this one. You are so caught up with the story you forget you are even watching an anime about baseball. Brilliantly made anime with great animation and music. Just like Death Note, Code Geass, and some other animes I have watched in the past, I just love when the main character is so evilly smart. Out of the over 100 animes I have watched, One Outs will definitely make it into my top 10 favorite animes of all time.
