It has been more than 5 years since this anime release, though I’ve watched this series many years ago, it appears that I rewatch it again before I write this review. Tiny Snow Fairy Sugar is by far the cutest anime I’ve ever came across with no rivalry even now. This might be just a typical fairy tail anime for many but it is a special anime that won a place in my heart.
This is a fairy tale story tells about Sugar as an apprientice Season Fairy who capable in casting Snow and how her appearance and her friends influence a teenage girl Saga. There’s nothing serious about the plot nor something that could make your blood rush. This is pretty much calm and slow anime telling bits of the life can offer when fairy tales came across realities. Of course, this anime also offer plenty of touching moments as well as sad moments. However there’s no room for complains if you ask me.
With beautiful music (Saga’s Piano piece is one of the few memorials once, the opening Sugar Baby Love was sung in many other language and I was quite surprise that it came into my local radio as English Lyrics when I was driving home.), splendid background animation which seems to take place in the centre Europe, miraculously cute character design, a band of great voice actress and actors, meaningful and heart warming story plot makes this anime the few most amazing and touching series of all times.
This is a series that suits most audience from all ages. If you like cute things, beautiful music, amazing and detailed animation qualities, simple straight forward story plot, or you simply needs a break after all those hardcore action animes, this is an ideal anime that will definitely end up giving you the comfortable and warm feelings in the end. I really hope that the romance side of this story could slightly develop but I suppose a series that aims for younger viewers doesn't need heavy dose of romances. Thus, I’ll overlooked this one and give this series a 10/10 as it deserved~!

Tiny Snow Fairy Sugar really brought out the word "cute" in the dictionary. It also - in a way - stimulates the thought of the magical world we once believed in if we were kids. For example the "imaginary friend" we always had, Tiny Snow Fairy Sugar claims that when we are kids only we can see the mythical characters. Makes you think: what if that fact is true? (maybe I'm thinking too much?).
I absolutely loved everything about this series that makes it an "anime" series. The music was beautiful, character design, and the sparkly animation really makes you glow with happiness. My favourite thing is probably the perfect fit of the voice work, the seiyuu's really did a great job. The most lacking is probably the predictable plot, but I'm sure this series is focused towards a younger audience. Also, I couldn't really relate to the characters, I found Saga and Sugar quite annoying at times. Despite the simple and magical-girl storyline, it didn't fail to bring tears to my eyes. Tiny Snow Fairy Sugar was really fun to watch and I would watch it again since it gives you those warm fuzzies in the end.

Another of my favorite anime of all time, I originally watched this during finals.. hehe. Somehow all the best anime come around finals.... Sugar is very girly, very cutesy, and you either love it or you hate it. Sugar focuses on the inter-relationships of the two main characters, Sugar and Saga - Saga a girl who lost her mother, her mother's piano and wants nothing more than to be loved and Sugar the tiny season fairy who wants desperately to grow up and be just like her mother.
the side characters are cute and adorable, adn there are great moments of hilarity in the series. The music, the animation, all are beautiful. Sugar asks the question, What is kirameki ? (kirameki is translated as glitter in the fansubs)
Well worth the watch if you are a hard core shoujo fan.
