Naruto

Studio : Pierrot

Licenced by : Viz Media, LLC.

Length : 220 Episodes

Year : 2002

Genre : Shounen - Fantasy - Comedy - Adventure - Action

Synopsis :
(by no1here)
"Long Ago, a demon fox appeared. That fox had nine tails. With one swing, that tail could cause mountains to crumble and tidal waves to form. To stop it the Shinobis fought. Then one Shinobi sacrificed his life to seal the demon. His name was the Fourth Hokage."

Naruto is a havoc causing student of the Ninja Academy of the Village Konoha (Leaf Village). He strives to become the next Hokage, which is the title awarded to the greatest Shinobi of the Leaf Village. Naruto's annoying, loud, strong-headed attitude is most likely due to the fact he is largely ignored and hated by the village people. As the series progress, a lot will be learned of Naruto's pass, some of which even Naruto doesn't know.

Watch as Naruto, fights against all odds to become the Hokage of Konoha Village!

Alternative Synopsis :
(by hickoryshoes)
Naruto is an anime series about a young aspiring ninja-to-be who wants to be recognized by his village. The main character, Uzamaki Naruto, who was orphaned as a child and imbued with the spirit of a demon fox as a baby was shunned by his village. Growing up with no true friends he often feels alone and unwanted by his peers. As a result, what he desires the most is to gain the respect and attention of his fellow villagers.

The adventure starts for Naruto once he attains the rank of Genin - the lowest ninja rank. He joins a ninja squad consisting of Haruno Sakura and Uchiha Sasuke. With his squad under the leadership of Hatake Kakashi, a jounin (highest rank) they embark on a series of missions. These missions take Naruto and his friends to face many dangers and struggles.

Later, Naruto and his friends are ready to take the Chuunin (middle rank) exam. It is here when Naruto finds out more about the demon fox, the Nine-Tails, that was sealed inside of him. Naruto runs into various foes, most notably Orochimaru a "missing Nin"(runaway ninja) from Naruto's village, the Hidden Leaf. After several conflicts he is taken under the wing of Sannin (legendary ninja) Jiraiya, who vows to train and protect Naruto from Orochimaru and other dangerous ninjas who wish to utilize the demon fox within him.

The story goes on... Keep watching...

I am not fond of ninja arts or other ninja stuff but when I first see this, it really caught my attention.

Story: 8/10
It has a solid main storyline which is a good thing. However, when fillers come, they are too far away from the main storyline and you will find yourself bored. It is a good thing that they manage to create a world where bonds among the characters are very important.

Animation: 9/10
For me, the finest animation among the three big animes in Japan (others are One Piece and Bleach). The movement of their hands when performing ninjutsu are detailed and their body movements have good precision. The fighting scenes are also great, especially the fight between Gaara and Rock Lee!

Characters: 10/10
One of the greatest cast of characters in a shounen anime. They are all strong and gifted to fight. A great villain can improve an anime dramatically, and in this one it really works. Orochimaru for me is one of the greatest villains in anime history. He is super strong, and he is really bad!

Music: 8/10
I love almost all of its opening and closing themes. Their BGMs are unique and sometimes cunning, well this is all about ninjas anyway.

Overall: 8.5/10
A great piece of work. Even if sometimes it gets boring, when the main arcs come its quality becomes next to perfect. I really love this one.

I never thought I'd finish up Naruto, but here I am! Well, that's not entirely true. I am writing this review before I dwell into the so-called fillers. All I hear are complaints concerning the last bundle of episodes, so it's best that my opinion of the actual anime is not potentially tainted.

Naruto is a very entertaining anime. It's a lengthy series, but remained enjoyable for a significant amount of time. There are so many characters to like, it's actually difficult for me to pick my favourite one. Add the fact that there are just so many characters in this series. Surprisingly, this isn't a negative point. Though Naruto featured a hefty number of characters, I think they did very well with portraying each character personality. Character growth and presentation were excellent.

No matter what people say, I'll admit that I enjoyed watching Naruto. It is indeed overrated in the sense that it's... rated profusely. There are only a few negative aspects worth mentioning: the development of scary/weird fanboys and fangirls towards this show, how "Dragon Ball" it turns out, and the flashbacks. Not every Naruto-obsessed fan is scary, but if you've attended the right conventions (note: all conventions), then you've probably experienced it. They're loud, talkative, sometimes arrogant. It becomes very "Dragon Ball" when one battle lasts for several episodes! I remember an arc that made me feel super anxious. For flashbacks, they make it very interesting and it aids for the excellent character development. But sometimes I would like to know what is happening RIGHT NOW.

All compliments go to the mangaka. The events were well executed and I think the story arcs were quite fun. The style is also a fine point. There are unique sets of characters and styles. You won't see any double characters for this anime or even from other anime titles. The clothes, the hair... even the special abilities! I think the building block of Naruto is very creative. I haven't even mentioned the music! Every OP and ED is an enjoyable song. Also, the addition of such background melodies really sets a really good COOL factor - probably the most addicting part of Naruto!

So yeah, I enjoyed Naruto. It is a very fun watch.

One day I came home to find that my boyfriend riveted to the television set, in the same pajamas that he had woken up in. Upon asking him what he was watching he grunted out, 'Naruto,' before turning his attention solely back to the TV.

It turns out he had been watching a Naruto marathon. All day. For at least eight hours.

Shocked, seeing as he is not an anime fan, I sat down and watched it with him for another two hours, figuring that I, being a huge anime fan, would enjoy it as well.

And I did...until I started to watch it on a weekly basis.

Animation: The animation is not what keeps this show popular. It isn't terrible, but it can be very inconsistent. One moment will be very clear, well-drawn, and well-thought out, and the next moment will be sloppy and use the same background that was used earlier. 5/10

Story: A giant marathon is probably the best way to watch this show, specifically a giant marathon with other people so you can talk about the parts you like during the parts that you don't like. On a weekly basis it becomes tedious and boring, especially when you watch it alone. The general plot (lonely but special boy wants to become greatest ninja ever) is standard, and with so many filler episodes it can be unbearable. 4/10

Characters: So what makes Naruto good? The characters. Even if you can't relate to the main three, there are enough periphery characters to keep your attention. I found myself wanting to know more about Hinata, Lee, Shikamaru, and Gaara than I did Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke. Unfortunately, with so many long and tedious plotlines, if you don't like the main characters, the show can get boring, quick. The dynamic between the main three is a very predictable love triangle, made even more predictable by blatant foreshadowing. Sakura and Sasuke never captivated me; however, Naruto and supporting cast were able to pull out the show with sufficient charm. 7/10

Music: The opening theme music is always appropriately catchy in a great way, and the background music throughout the episodes is good without being annoying. 7/10

Overall: Naruto is great because, like the Dragonball franchise, it has the power to addict a whole new generation of anime fans. Unfortunately, like Dragonball, the fight scenes are many episodes long, and the story arcs neverending. Hopefully, once they outgrow Naruto, they'll expand their horizons to bigger and better titles. 6/10

So it's the story of this weird hyper-active ninja named Naruto and his quest to become Hokage (leader of his village, Konoha). Well, it's not that simple, because Naruto begins as a less than average ninja, but that soon changes and there are so many twists and turns in this series, which make it so uniquely awesome.

Now for the ratings:

Animation: 9/10- The animation is pretty good, as you wouldn't expect "awesome" quality, but the animation does make all that happens in the series unbelievable with all the different clones and whatnot.

Plot: 10/10- Being as long as it is, the story of Naruto becoming Hokage is just more of a back-plot. With all the sub-plots and the twist coming right at the end of the series (which is episode 136, btw... not the 137-220 fillers). It makes this anime worth watching.

Characters: 10/10- Having so much time, all the characters shown in this shown have some sort of back-story, and the best ones are explained in the case of Naruto and Sasuke (his best friend/rival/enemy)

Music: 10/10- There is so much different music in this anime that it blows you away. The opening themes are usually the best (the jap ones atleast).

So overall, this is a 10/10 anime and I suggest many of you who like action and great plots to watch it.

I'm a very big anime fan and I could say that every anime addict will love Naruto.

Characters
The characters are just awesome, all have different personalities, having a lot I mean A LOT of characters gives you a very wide range of story, every leading characters were all very well thought with originality. Together with the length of the anime, it will give you a serious craving for the anime.

storyline
The story is all about a boy who has a nine tailed fox demon called a kyubi in Japanese named Naruto who dreams to become the hokage which is the supreme leader in his town named the leaf village. bieng a genin which is the lowest ninja rank, he strives to become stronger and advance to a higher rank till he becomes a hokage. Naruto together with his friends through different missions that will make us laugh, cry, and even be angry about it. Through the lenght of the story its all about the love for your country and defending it with all you life and with no hesitation

music
many of its opening songs are quite excellent and I just have to give credit for all of it.

Naruto for me, is a must to watch anime for any anime lover out there

Naruto is a fantastic anime, though the way it starts out is LAME. But just keep watching just like many other animes it starts out silly but later on things become more serious.

The animation is just up to date in quality there's nothing unique about it really things may look nice but I'd prefer things more like Mushi-shi or Haibane Renmei to me thats true art.

The action takes its time, what with all the conversations. But moreover its entertaining and a lot of it can be considered epic, though I don't watch it for the action.

The music is so amazing they really capture emotions and the music used for action can get you HYPED it never changes but you cannot get sick of it. As for the OP's and ED's some are lame, some are cool but none are memorable apart from maybe one.

The characters are the pinnacle of this anime there's so many of them and no matter what there wont be one exactly the same there all likable but more then that awesome. My favorite has to be Neji or Gaara or Sasuke or Naruto or Kakashi, you see there are so many that you cant just pick one. The character development is done well it can become a little repetitive with naruto but there all an emotional ride that travels deep within the memory of the characters.

The story starts of as nothing but everything that happens happens for a reason well maybe not the fillers. The fillers are the only down point to the anime it's the only reason I gave it a 9. Anyways back to the story one of the best things about the anime its so detailed and emotional there isn't a story as deep as this one.

To sum up it's an incredible anime a long one but totally worth the time. Its something that can be remembered for years to come. I'm pretty sure everyone's watched or at least heard of it, but I just wanted to talk about how great the anime is.

Where to start... Well I love Naruto, it is a great anime and I recommend it to all, but there are a few flaws. For now, though, Ill tell you what I loved about it! To start with, the characters are very, very colorful! Each one of them has so much depth and are all unique in their own way! Obviously its about someone named Naruto who just happens to be a ninja! Hes got a pretty sad past but he still pushes forward, even when things are difficult... Classic hero in my opinion, and hes just one of the many creative and deadly characters in this series!

Another thing I love would be the fight scenes, theres more to them then just fighting. What stuck out to me would be the movement of the characters as they are fighting, just the footwork alone was very interesting to me! But nothings perfect, theres a lot of little things that I don't really mind but I do have to say " if you watch Naruto, don't watch it in English", it desecrates everything good about the show! The phrase believe it is used about every other friggin sentence and after watching the first show you'll all ready be sick of Naruto!

My suggestion would be to download the Japanese version with subtitles to get around this! The voice actors are by far better in the Japanese version anyways! Take it from me, someone who downloaded over 200 episodes and watched them all with in 2 weeks, that this show is amazing and don't watch it in English:)

There are many Shounen Jump action anime but Naruto is by far the best.

Story (10/10): Naruto is about a group of kids trying to become ninjas. Sounds simple, but the story actually holds a lot of depth. Naruto is a kid cursed with having a demon fox sealed inside him. Because of this he is looked down upon and that is why he works hard to become the next village leader so everyone will acknowledge him. Then there is his teamate Sasuke who has a much darker dream of revenge against his brother for killing their entire family. As the story unfolds we follow the paths of these two and many other interesting characters through some of the greatest story arcs ever told. Naruto is unique in having several epic arcs as opposed to only one (Bleach, Kenshin). Throughout these arcs several themes are explored, including: The weaker "dropouts" becoming stronger to fight on level with the "genius" ninjas; Being able to find the light to deal with a dark past; Overcomeing physical and social inferiority; Becoming useful or desired by others; Learning to be a good ninja while being more than just a tool for killing; among others. What helps the story is that not all succeed at their goals, or realize they still have a long way to go, which helps kill some of the predictability.

Characters (10/10): Naruto has many great characters to go with its epic story. These characters do well to portray the themes listed above in an emotional manner. Naruto is great in the way it makes you feel the pain and suffering of its characters, as well as the joy of facing and overcoming their problems. Many are very unique with interesting personalities. The character relationships, especially those of the student and teacher, are another emotional driving force as we see both successes and failures in these relationships. I cannot go into detail because there are so many great characters to talk about in this anime. If you watch you will not be bored because these many characters the story can deal with. Not to mention the most unique villains of all time, who also have interesting backgrounds and personalities. I will say this anime has more of my all-time favorite characters than any other anime (Hinata, Haku, Shino, Kakashi, Naruto, and Shikamaru).

Music (9/10): For the most part I was satisfied, until the fillers where in-story music was getting old and generally the OPs and EDs got weaker. But the OPs and EDs during the manga adapted storyline were mostly good. Especially the second OP and the first ED, which are both favorites of mine. The in-story music is well placed and suitable, especially the two themes played with Orochimaru, which are two of the best anime villain themes.

Art (8/10): For the most part the art in Naruto suffices. Some might complain about the use of flashbacks, but I found that a lot of the time the flashbacks are done to reflect a characters thoughts and not just to fill time (though this is done sometimes). Being a very long series there are some episodes that are not quite up to par. Nonetheless the character designs are well done, suiting each characters personality, and the background scenery and jutsus are well done. All in all, artwork in the Naruto universe is good and the Naruto universe itself feels fresh and unique (until the fillers).

Entertainment (10/10): Naruto is both a fun and emotional series to watch, with several great story plots and characters. Also, this series has some of the best fights that exist. Unlike several action series where characters just have one or a couple of techniques or just different ways to fire energy blasts (with the stronger energy or attack always winning), Naruto has many different kinds of techniques that require strategy to either execute or overcome. In fact, many of the techniques are fairly unique compared to what you might find in other action anime (Haku's ice mirrors, Kimimaro's Bones, the Sharingan, the Byakugan and being able to strike internal organs, Sakon/Udon's body fusion). But do not worry there are still plenty of power techniques and attacks that are cool. There are a few parts of Naruto that are slow but these are few and far between...until the filler arcs. If there is one problem with Naruto it is the 85+ filler episodes. However, pretty much all of these filler occur afer episode 135 when the first part of the manga storyline ended. So you can just stop watching after ep135 and go right to Naruto Shippuden (it was the wait for the main story to continue with Shippuden that really drove viewers crazy). Still, this is better than having several filler arcs parced throughout in my mind.

Overall, despite the fillers, Naruto's fantastic story arcs and characters, with its emotional themes, bumps it to a 10/10 rating. This is by far the greatest long-running action anime ever.

The world of naruto is one of the most vivid and interesting place there is. Unfortunately this is one of those series the characters and story takes a backburner to cold hard accounting. Each fight scene, suspenseful scene is dragged out to unbearable lengths so that they could milk the advertisement funds and ratings for all it's worth. Each character has a unique trait to them and they fight differently. I would hope that the series would go into them; I mean the creators had 100+ episodes so I say to them... why not? But they are only skin deep in the end. One looks Chinese, One looks perverted, One looks homicidal, One looked like an Old Woman etc. They don't have much life to them and their past stories are easily summed up.

I really think the company has the targeted audience wrong. With all those flashbacks they must be targeting Naruto to those who have Chronic Memory Loss. The amount of flashbacks they added is ridiculous. This is one of the worst things that this series does and it really drags the series down and destroys it. What this company needs is an editor cause there are so much flab that needs to be cut from each episode that I think this series gonna die soon from having it's heart clogged.

I think Naruto has alot of potential. So much in the world of Konoha is special and has been unexplored. The studio needs to get off of accounting and focus on economics if they are a business. The Difference? you make money in economics through innovations and not by the hour.

Uzumaki Naruto, a determined Hokage-in making.
A young spirited boy set his goals to become the best Hokage Konoha village has ever seen, infused with the Demon Fox inside of him, his opponents shudder in fear.

Naruto, THE MOST popular anime/manga series in Japan!

Story: 10/10
This anime series has it all!
Happy scenes, sad scenes, action, drama, comedy, you name it! Though during the action (fighting scenes in particular) the outcome is quite predictable, the Demon Fox always seem to appear at the last minute to save Naruto being pounded.

Style: 9/10
Very unique, interesting difference between the villages and characters.

Graphics: 8/10
Very finely drawn, though I've noticed some scenes where the anatomy of the faces are drawn wrong but it's really not that much of a big deal

In conclusion, this anime series is perfect for all audiences, yet suitable for adult as well. A family hit.

Naruto. Everyone has heard about it. Whether it's your grandmother or your uncle, everyone has heard about this yellow-haired demon fox kid.

The truth is, Naruto will the MOST popular anime whether people like it or not. People lavish its beautifully drawn artwork and "intensely detailed" fight scenes. However, does Naruto live up to its hype?

Plot: PREDICTABLE
So where does the hype begin you ask? Right off the bat. From the very beginning of episode one the viewer is completely aware of the ultimate direction of the plot: Naruto will someday become the strongest ninja of his village and receive the title of Hokage. The rest of the story revolves around this predictable plotline.

The Naruto storyline is made even more predictable through the fights. Every battle is the same. Naruto quickly loses his temper and charges into battle. After being asswhopped by the antagonist, Naruto gathers up his courage and "demon fox" power and quickly defeats his enemy.

One major thing to note about this series is the HUGE filler episodes in Naruto. Just skip those episodes. It's not worth the time.

Animation: Episodes lack consistency
While a majority of episodes are decently drawn, some episodes between the arcs are PAINFULLY DRAWN. You make the decision of what episodes to watch. I would prefer to stick with the storyline episodes because those episodes are usually drawn better than the fillers.

Music: Above Average
The intro and ending music are pretty good actually. (However, I prefer Naruto Shipudden music over this series)

Naruto is the perfect anime for a person to be introduced to animes. It will pretty much be your first stepping stone on your way to being addicted to anime (except those fillers) In closing, while Naruto is better than the average anime, it does not stand up to the hype.

Simply put Love or Hate series, Period.

Compared to shippuden, this arc rocks. The pacing may be slow but compared to shippuden, it is rocket fast.
Story 10/10 Story pace: 5/10

Even though it has a lengthy, good story, the pace is slow, being the main reason why people hate it. But if you swallow it through, you will love the anime.
Characters: 10/10

Naruto’s best feature, yep you readied right. The characters are varied and colorful, very deep and charming. You will essentially love at least one of them.
Music: 10/10

The inspiring, and cool music, creats the perfect atmosphere when fighting, that’s when they are NOT talking.
Value 10/10:

The thing is 246+ ep long, if you like it there is tons to enjoy.

But everything sound so nice, why people hate it? Morons......? you may say, but there are 2 crucial flaws 1) They talk to much, WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY to much, not even your mother in law compares to this. 2) The pace is snail slow, it took 15 ep to finish up a fight once, yep it sucks, but if you are a fan it dosen’t matter, although critics and non-fans explode these falws and give them bad reviews, and yes, its more than fair they do it.

Naruto is one of the most inspiring and all-around great anime of all time. It is loved by many, and hated by many, so I can't say it's for everyone, but it's a must try. *I'm reviewing this anime as if the fillers didn't exist. I don't understand why people lower the score because of fillers, in my opinion those episodes aren't part of the Naruto series at all.

Story: Ninjas. A boy who aspires to be a ninja, constantly shunned, not too talented, and lastly, a loner. Despite his difficult life, he has always managed to live on in a happy manner and reach for the top in hopes of finally being recognized by his village. Whenever he’s down, we know he’s not out. This anime presents us with such great themes: to never give up, to be happy. Then, when he finally begins to become recognized, his life takes another blow. The story isn't great for its complexity, its great for the emotions it can inspire, and for that I give it a near perfect 10: 9.5/10

Characters: I basically covered Naruto in the story section, but that’s the great thing about this anime. It's long not because of useless episodes and pro-longed battles, its long because of the many inspiring characters, each unique in their own way, each facing their own demons and challenges to rise. Rock Lee, Sasuke, Naruto, Sakura, it's impossible to say who has been the most inspiring, the most complex. The characters are all great, and there are plenty of them. 10/10

Music:Nothing mind-blowing, but I really enjoyed a lot of it. All the emotional moments got to me, and all the triumphant moments made me excited. A few of the openings/ends leave a bit to be desired, but based on how many it has, I won't judge this too harshly. 8.5/10

Animation/Art: Passable, as is most anime these days. I was too absorbed to really notice anything noteworthy in regards to the animation. 8/10

Overall: A great anime due to inspirational and emotional moments we can relate to. It has length, but does not bore you (at least not me). The story although quite unimpressive in terms of plot and suspense, is at least not horrible. ( 9.5+10+8.5+8 )/4 = 9

Oddly, people judge this anime with high regard, especially the younger preteen or teenage audience. But why not? Naruto is about young ninjas fighting and beating the bad guys with fancy techniques and an army load of flashbacks. Why do I despise this anime so much? Well let's start out from the beginning:

-Story-
If an anime has a crappy story, pretty much that anime would end up crappy. Naruto started out with a solid story. Naruto, a social outcast because of his inner demon sealed in him, wants to become a hokage (leader of the ninja village). And the kid who once had no friends (and was a lousy ninja) meets a ton of them especially in the second arc (and becomes a better ninja). The story is pretty decent and easily likable. Naruto goes on a bunch of journeys to get stronger. But then there's the bad points. The plot holes... The story is filled with plot holes, and the flashbacks (which should help relieve the plot holes) makes it worse. You see a lot of meaningless repetitive flashbacks, some which come by multiple times like they want to drill it into your skull. Also the story is super stretched making watching the anime incredibly tedious. Apparently animators didn't learn their lesson from DBZ with the 5 episodes for a single fight.

So basically, Naruto was a solid storyline that ended badly with holes everywhere, flashbacks every other episode and 5 episode long fights.

-Characters and their development-
Characters... there are LOTS of characters. So much, that no matter who you hate, you'll find at least 1 character you can relate to. This also adds to the mountain of fillers. The character development is pretty slow, however some you can find some substantial changes for better and worse. A good example would be Naruto, and Sakura most of all. All the others require 1 or 2 fights for them to change.

Sadly, some of these characters are quite 2 dimensional... or sometimes not given the spotlight they deserve. And then of course, there is the REALLY overrated characters, and Orochimaru just earned the Naraku Inuyasha torture award.

-Animation and Artwork-
The Animation of Naruto is actually pretty decent, and the artwork is appealing to the eye. However sometimes it defies logic. Why would a ninja (who specializes in assassinations and stealth) have bright blonde hair, an obnoxiously loud voice, a bad temper and orange clothing? Its quite boggling. And some of the animation is quite repetitive, the animators can clearly be seen as lazy since they dragged everything out so you'll see the same trees while they run, the battle fields are always the same for 20+ ep and WHAT? Doesn't THAT river look familiar!
Even the ninja techniques get pretty repetitive, they look really nice the first time but when the ninjas constantly do the same thing, you know somethings up with the animators. In addition some character designs tend to look quite ugly... spontaneously. One moment they look cool, the next you wonder when that certain animator will get fired. Good news, Rock Lee always looks his best because of the eyebrows. Everyone should have eyebrows like Lee.

-Music-
The Music is ok at most. Sometimes you get pretty pissed off with some repetitive tunes but its nothing to strangle someone over. Although... some of the voices can be worse than nails on a chalk board.

-Length-
Whoo Boy, Naruto is amazingly long and amazingly meaningless. After Sasuke's little flight you get plagued by an army of fillers. Its almost, if not worse than Bleach's Bount Arc and Inuyasha's fillers. Aside from 5 episode long battles, you get an episode about Ramen. Fillers are ok when going in depth with characters, but some of these fillers (most actually) will make you want to rip your hair off your head.

-Inconsistencies-
Let me guess, WHAT MORE can u rant about? Aside from time-to-time ugly artwork, flashbacks, fillers, and bad voices, there are some major strange occurrences. Like strength growths, strength deficiencies, character appearances and so forth. Sometimes Naruto crams a butt load too many characters at you at once. So you tend to forget most of the non important ones until they actually have to do with the story. Ten Ten- WHO, Shino-whats-his-face, That chick with Tsunade? This adds to the characters being 2 dimensional and not enough spotlight like before.

Also, enemies who were super strong before, become disgustingly weak when they turn 'good'. I call this the Vegeta-syndrome. You see this quite clearly with Gaara's character, and the instructor of the second part of the chuunin exams. Its rather sad and kind of annoying. Then there's the vice versa when characters just randomly decide to turn evil and they are horrendously god-modingly strong.

-Let's watch it again-
Re watching this either means you have godly tolerance, or your a bit too obsessive.

-Overview-
Pro's- Memorable characters, Decent animation, The Zabuza Arc, action.
Con's- Fillers, Shallow presentation, Flashbacks, Stretched story, terribly annoying voices, lazy animations, random god-moding moments.

Watch this anime if you have nothing to do.

Naruto is a cool anime that's almost perfect, but to save you the time DONT watch this anime past episode 150. If you do, you're wasting your time. So many fillers you will feel like crying. Fillers are the only problem with this anime. I mean I loved the show but it has over 80 episodes of non-stop fillers. The sound tracks are cool. Every opening theme is cool, but it just has too many fillers episodes. COME ON 80+ Episodes OF FILLERS THAT WAY TO MANY!!!!

Music: The opening themes and ending themes are great. I give the themes a 10 for all the seasons. The OST is also good. In overall I give the music a 5 out of 5.

Animation: The animation is one of a kind. No other anime has character designs like Naruto. Animation 5 out of 5.

Story plot: all I can say is “wow?? . The plot for Naruto will keep you on the edge of your seat through all of the seasons. Story plot 5 out of 5

So why did I give it an 8? Because once again, the fillers, there were just too many fillers.
