This is the 5th Dragonball Z movie and I'm happy to say it is not as bad as the first 4 movies.
Story: Goku, Krillin, and Gohan have a camping trip on Earth after the fierce battle between Frieza on Namek. Unbeknownst to the Z warriors, Cooler, who is Frieza's brother, is coming to earth for revenge. The story may not be original but is played off decently in the movie.
Characters: If you are familiar with Dragonball z, the main characters such as Goku, Gohan, and Krillin are the same as they usually are in the tv series. For Cooler himself, I have to say that I liked him a lot because he had a stylish appearance and much calmer demeanor than his brother. I didn't much care for Cooler's Armored Squadron because they were odd looking and somewhat boring as villians.
Animation: The animation is an improvement over most of the previous movies, but my problem was that the background at times were uninteresting because of overemphasis of some colors( i.e. greens and browns). The action seens were decent to look at and animation was fluid.
Sound: I watched the English version of movie which had rock music which felt out of place. The dubbing was solid, which is always a good thing. I thought that the voice actor who voiced Cooler did an excellent job portraying him.
Overall I give this movie a 6/10 because it felt like I was watching a standard episode of Dragonball Z as opposed to an actual movie. If you are a fan of Dragonball Z and have some free time, try it out.

Well, well, what is there to say about DBZ movie 2 other then... it sux0red ( pardon the use of that word, haha )!
There are a few things that made me use that word ( sux0red ).
1. The plot: it's on par with every other DragonballZ movie in the sense that there is some guy who wants to take over the earth; and like always they need to go through Goku and the other Z fighters.
2. The characters: I'll bring this up in every single review of anything dragonball related: I hate the characters!
3. The action: it was okay actually. The action is decent and it brings the score up a point!
4.The animation: it wasn't great... and these days if the animation isn't great it's horrible; since even the crappy series has good animation now.
I'll give this a 2 out of 10... the action was decent.. so it brought it up a point ;)
