About a girl who really likes a guy but doesn't have the courage to tell him. She likes him so much so that she happens to appear as his right hand. Pretty strange, unique, and quite enjoyable. A lot of random nude scenes, not appropriate for younger audiences.
The good:
I enjoyed the plot to Midori no Hibi. I really felt the characters (the main characters anyway) were pretty three-dimensional. They seem very real, and believable.
The humor was pretty well done in this. It wasn't the best that I've seen for humor, but I was not disappointed in any way. There were some extremely hilarious scenes, and I don't think there were really any humor I didn't appreciate at all
The mediocre:
The animation is decent, but not something I really noticed one way or the other.
The music did not stand out either. It was appropriate, but not amazing and definitely not bad.
The bad:
I really feel like there is no need for there to be fifty bazillion boob scenes in here. Now and then it doesn't bug me, but the "Why don't we have the characters go to the hot spring to show some boobs" gimmick has gotten really old.
The only other bad thing about this is that it ended. I really felt like I wanted to keep on watching once it was over, but the plot is pretty much finished so, so much for that.

Overall, a good anime. Not for kids, but pretty funny and enjoyable.
8/ 10

I first thought it was fairly stupid anime, due to girls planted on his hand makes the whole thing fairly awkward. I picked this up upon recommendation from a friend and in the end, it turn out to be unexpectedly good.
Like most series of this genre, the plot is fairly simple, going through comedic or interesting situations with an accompanying girl. It seemed a little weird at the end as the character of the real Midori seemed quite different from the Midori on the hand, but that retained her shy nature and for the protagonist to accept her for who she really used to be. I think the ending could have used much more impact though; it turns out to be a little too dull for an ending to me.
Midori no Hibi excel at its story style, which unlike many series of the similar genre, isn’t a lot about getting into ecchi situations, fan service, or getting irritating characters to “act cute. It’s more about simple and more realistic comedic situations, and I felt the emotions of the characters are brought out well, especially that of Ayase’s. I’m kind of surprised that there’s hardly a moment I feel bored, which happens to a lot of series I watch these days. In all, I felt that this is exactly how a love comedy should be like.
The animation doesn’t cut corners, and although the animation isn’t really detailed, it was pretty smooth throughout. The ending and opening theme are very good, well, in comparison to animes of similar genre (thanks ultimasome for this one). Particularly the ending theme, which is gonna stay in my mind for some time.
Definitely recommended for anyone who appreciate love comedy.

The main character is Seiji Sawamura ( a 17-year-old delinquent student who is feared for his fighting skills but he actually protects people with his Devil's Right Hand ) and Midori Kasugano, a 16 year old girl who has a crush on Seiji and one day wakes up to become his right hand.
The music fits the animation very well. Each episode has a mix of comedy, romance and action. Each episode also represents one day so altogether Seiji has Midori as his right hand for about 2 weeks.
Each character in this anime is unique and has his/her own personality. Too bad the ending was too predictable.
In my opinion, the one thing which this anime lacks is that it has too few episodes.
Note : This anime contains some nudity.

This anime is HILARIOUS. I mean the guy has a girl on his hand! That concept by itself is enough to get a smile on your face, I know it got on mine.
The story follows a delinquent that wakes up one day to find his "demonic right hand" got replaced with a cute girl that loves him for some reason. Its a pretty funny romantic comedy thats pretty simple to understand and the situations they get into are pretty funny. Midori as an otaku object XD
The animation and music weren't anything incrediable but they were pretty decent in their own right.
I enjoyed Midori no Hibi a lot therefore I hope you will too. ~later~

This anime is quite good for the animation picture quality and the soundtrack quality. The soundtrack is pretty good, maybe the best anime soundtrack for me so far. Both the OP and ED theme really reflects the main story. Actually I would like to recommend all of you to hear the soundtrack.
The story is nice, at the start, it's just too bad that the ending not so dramatic as I expected. Actually the story is rearranged from the manga chapter, but I'd like to say that the manga is better.
But, there's still a lot of comedy scene enough to make you rolling on the floor laughing. The character design is good anyway. The way it can balance the proportion between Seiji and Midori as his right hand is admitable.
Since there is slight ecchi contents, make sure you're at the rigth age to see this anime!

Midoro no Hibi, or Midori Days, is about a girl who became the right hand of a delinquent whom she had a crush on, and their adventure begins on the day the incident happen. For every episode, its considered as one day in the anime.
Story: Very interesting, I can imagine how it feels to have someone to be your right hand. The concept is very original and new, so it appeals to me when they first introduced it to me. From the day they have "mergered" together, they have been through many adventures, such as keeping the incident from others, and confessing of their inner feeling. The ending was pretty unexpected (not the ending as of the last few minute, but the event that happened at the last episode), and it rounds up the entire story without cliff-hanger.
Animation: The animation if fine, typical for japanese animes. The charaters were well-drawn, the delinquent doesn't really look that dangerous, just that the show contains ecchi, so it is not suitable for all.
Music: The music and songs are catchy, easy to recall them and really fits the story. It does display the mood of the charaters and works well with the scenes.
Overall, I give this anime 9/10, without doubt, it is definitely worth watching.

I fell in love with this anime. With... its hardcore comedy (I watched it from 7pm to like 2am so I couldn't laugh my heart out, I chuckled). I fell in love with Midori, Seiji, Asaka... Everyone had someone that I could idenfity with.
This anime described in 3 words would be: heart-warming, comic, lovely. Sometimes it's TOO lovely, you actually feel like dying. Some episodes felt like 'fillers' but in the end they had a meaning. In the end I couldn't help but cry. It was too touchy, it was just great. I watched the end 2 minutes ago, and the tears are drying out at the moment. This anime is just great.
I'm in that stage where you think: "I've watched all the good stuff." Since I like weird stuff, I decided to try this anime about 'a girl becoming a guys right hand.' Boy, I'm glad I decided to watch it. This animes message is basically that feelings wont reach a person unless you let them know. It's about how you can't really keep love feelings to yourself unless you want something to come out of the feelings themselves. Right now, I'm stuck on this confusing love duet. But I've just found my answer, in this anime.
Sounds stupid doesn't it? Finding the answer to something to real and serious as love, in animations. Finding the truth you were looking for in animes, not in your parent's words or your friends'. Anime is seriously great, my friends.
Anime Points:
-Story: Nice, short, funny, lovely. Perfect ending.
-Music: Bah nothing too great. I can't really recall ANY music right now. (And I got an ear for music)
-Characters: They develop through the story and mature. The characters are just lovely too. OMG MIDORI IS SOOO CUTE.
-Fighting scenes: They're just average. Nothing too bloody or over-exaggerated because this is a comic/romantic/ecchi anime afer all.
-Drawings: I like how it's drawn. It's from 2004, but the drawing is good. It's funny how they draw the faces when they're mad (specially Seiji-kun). Tits are drawn nicely too, close to perfect.

For a romantic anime, this ones pretty good. Imagine a girl who had a crush on you for so long and one day she appears on your hand! Oooooh, I hope it can happen to me one day, even though there are bad points too... o.o
First of all, its not totally a romantic anime. It is also filled with comedy that can make you laugh your hearts out! The story is very romantic and touching, sometimes it gets too mushy XD. But I like mushy ^^ hehe.
Animation is fine, and the music is great! It tunes in very well with the show. I recommend the songs, they rock :O
Characters are fantastic, they are very funny too. It brings tears to my eyes as I keep laughing at how humourous the show is.
8/10 is the rating I give to this anime overall, pretty good.
PS: MIDORI IS SOOOO CUTE >_< I wish I could have a girlfriend like her. =(

Midori days, was enjoyable, fun, romance anime. The show was pretty good, but could have made the story a little better, and more deep.
The story to the show is that guy named Seiji goes into the parking lot and gets into a cool fight. After his fight he goes to a bunch of girls and tries to ask them out, but the poor guy gets rejected. He goes home, and wishes he had a girlfriend...The next morning he wakes up, and poof his right hand became a small little girl. Her name is Midori, and that is where the name of this anime comes from. It seemed like that Midori was a girl that had a crush on Seiji since middle school, at first he was not about to accept this love, but slowly their relationship started to develop more and more.
Wow what a explosive opening to the show with a good fight, but later it is not all about fighting at all. The story concept this is quite nice and innovative. I loved this idea of a girl that likes you so much as your right hand; you get to spend the rest of your day with her. Gee I wish I had a right hand that had the girl that had a crush on me. Anyways the show was pretty much like a slice of life show, it showed the everyday life of Seiji and Midori as his right hand. As Midori started to become more and more serious about their relationship, Seiji also started to get more and fonder of him.
Characters in the show were portrayed very well. Seiji was the ultimate fighter in his school, and was trained by his estranged sister, who is a alcoholic, and a very comedic character. Seiji was a great character that physically looks like a character that does not care for anyone but inside he cares allot, especially for Midori. You can see an example of that in the first episode, that one scene was powerful enough to get me hooked onto this show. Midori is a very nice and I hate to admit it but a cute character. The way she takes things so easily is the nice part of her character, and is a part that I really like about her. The funny thing is that her personality is so different when she was as the right had of Seiji, and when she is in her true physical form. Hayase was a very funny character to watch. Her character I also liked her very much, I’m a sucker for those characters where they act like they don't got a crush on the guy, but does nice things for him and make up an ugly excuse. In the end I really felt sorry for her. Yet the characters were very well developed, their emotions were expressed very nicely.
The animation and art to the show quite nice. They had the cutesy art style, which was nice to see. I actually liked the green hair that Midori had, and I believe that Midori does mean green, which is a coincidence. The fights in the show were very well animated, and were entertaining. It's amazing that the show was so well animated in the action even though this show does not specialize in the action genre.
The music to the show was ok. I thought that the opening theme was decent, but childish at the same time. The opening theme I kind of liked, but I liked the background music, especially at the points of action. That is when the action gets you all hyped up.
The show was pretty good, that gives you a nice, and conclusive ending. It leaves you with a great feeling, and it really does have a rewatch value to it. The show itself is very fun to watch, mixed in with some nice drama. I recommend this to all romance/comedy fans, and maybe some action fans, since it does got it's action scenes when it needs to have action, but overall it is just a comedy/romance anime. Good show!

Midori no Hibi is actually a personal favorite animé of mine. I watched all of the 13 episodes in a single day and due to my love, I wanted to explore the depth of the story I now love, by buying the manga.
The story is unique (to me at least). To have a pure born fighter (seiji) have a kawaii, shy and all around sweet girl (Midori) as a right hand is innovative to say the least.
Each episode had a moment in it - be the moment Comedy, Romance or just plain action it had something in it.
I have heard comments by people whom I talk to say the characters are not really that believable (and one review on here if I remember correctly). I personally found the characters quite believable when in depth.
Sawamura, for example, is the person who has a hard and tough exterior and keeps the facade when in reality he is a soft, heart-warming guy who'll go to any lenghts for the ones he cares about.
Midori is also a believeable character. She's terribly shy but in the circumstances she was close to him and built up the courage. Then when she can't remember, but loses the warm feeling she has she finally admits it in her real form.
Then we can't forget the other characters (some done a little over the top, but still can be around).
The music is perfect. It can reflect the atmosphere at times and at others it's just there and something nice to listen to.
The Animation was great for Midori no Hibi. I still can't get rid of an image of hand midori out of my head - so kawaii! The faces that are made throughout just amuse me terribly - although the faces can put some people off, it just made the mood lighter and more comical, just can't be replaced.
I honestly do adore this animé. I'd like to give it 10/10 but as we all know, nothing is perfect. Some people like to give 10's but it's just a rule of mine not to give 10 unless it's absolutely perfect.
This is damn well near it, so it get's 9/10.

Midori No Hibi takes the common concept of a romance-comedy anime and makes it into something original. After watching the first episode, I really didn't know what to expect. The idea was just so odd to have a girl (Midori) all of a sudden become a delinquent's (Seiji) right hand. But the idea was fresh, intriguing, and veered away from most of the other romance-comedy animes out there.
Animation was solid, nothing really eye popping, but also nothing really to complain about. Music was very smooth, low key, and I liked the tone for the anime. Characters were very well developed, especially the two main leads: the shy yet spunky Midori and the tempered yet reserved Seiji. Side characters such as Ayase, Shiori, and Seiji's sister were also well used and well developed. Like I said the storyline was odd at first, but after a while you realize that it's a very unique and cool one. Midori becomes Seiji's right hand, and they practically go through every day life together as normal as possible while at the same time becoming closer and closer to each other.
I kind of became hooked onto this anime after a few episodes because of it's fight scenes, love love comedy romance, laughs, and uniqueness of the plot. If you like watching animes with any of the above, hurry up and watch all 13 episodes of Midori No Hibi. There was nothing that really made me say wow about his anime, but there was also nothing that made me hate it, except for maybe one or two pointless episodes. Anyways I give this anime a 8.5, but since I can only give whole numbers I'll rate it as a 9.
Review Score: 9/10

Cute. Nutty! Lots of Fun! I had some reservations at first considering the premise (a girl becomes the hero guy's hand? Definitely original), but I soon forgot about all that after an episode or two, and I just enjoyed.
The characters were very likeable. Seiji is a tough guy (except when his big sister is around to keep him in-line; She's such a riot!), but he is very protective and appears more kind-hearted as things progress. Midori is very sweet. I do appreciate the female characters with the "dedication to their man no matter what" roles, and always want the love/romance/devotion to go both ways. The class president was also a very enjoyable character, and actually I could have seen Seiji's feelings go in either of the two directions explored in this show. The episode where the much younger girl tried to get Seiji's attention by dressing sexy wasn't so good. This is still a pet-peeve of mine regarding Anime: the "little girl as sex object" thing. Not good. But I still enjoyed the rest of the series.
The artwork was good. Not mind-blowing or anything. The facial expressions and emotions were great, especially Seiji's frequent looks of terror in numerous comical situations! Har Har! The music was good, but nothing I'd have to run out and buy. 8 out of 10 stars. Worth a try.

After watching the whole anime in just 1 day. I can say Midori no Hibi is worth watching. This anime has some action in it, but it's mostly about a romance between a guy named "Seiji" and "Midori" who became his right hand one day.
I liked this anime becuase it was short and humorous. I watched the anime in one sitting. Each and every one of the 13 episodes had different humour in it. There is also one lesson I learned from this anime. It tells me be nice to those around you because when their gone, it might be too late to tell how you really feel about them. That is what I was affected personally.
Through out the anime, the special effects and the background music, or the battle music was so well done. It really matched the scene of animation, especially in the figthing scenes.
I say this anime is great overall and I will give it a 9 out of 10.
To those who are looking for a short romance anime. This is an anime for you.

This show had some amazing episodes and was hilarious for most of its running time.
I'm just feeling bitter for the ending, because a friend of mine and I watched the entire anime from start to finish and foolishly believed that Seiji at the end would not choose to pick Midori but rather stay with Hayase instead. That sour deception made us scream aloud in denial while watching the final scene in protest to outspeak our dissatisfaction for Seiji's decision.
Still despite the ending, I view the plot to have run smoothly focusing exclusively on the lead protagonists and not introducing other upcoming characters that might have lead our attention astray from the basic storyline.
In short, this title is easily likeable due to its cast members (with different personalities for each), the consistent humor thrown at every episode, and the high-quality music. It immerses newcomers into the world of anime; a perfect example to gather a friend (especially a girl) interested in Japanese animation because for the show's simple high-school, love drama. To tell the truth, the usage of the animation was pulled out perfectly at times like when Sawamura's face comically distorts, after he finds out Midori is his hand, and she was designed embellishing cute in that form.
Anyways, if it wasn't for that ending, then I would have liked this anime so much more.
