One year after 12 former pets (now guardian angels) have come back to repay Goro's kindness.
It's a sweet story line with more in-depth details to some of the angels who later came in season one. Personally, Momo is the sweetest one out of all. The series this time around focuses more on the lives of the girls rather than the master. It doesn’t mean that he’s not as important, after all he’s the reason they’re there. It just means we get a better view of the daily lives of the girls while Goro is off becoming a Vet. Though I use to think I was quick on my feet when it came to coming up with stories to cover you're tracks, when the new landlady comes unexpectedly, it seemed as everyone just shot the 1st thought in their head and just ran with it, which pays off. It’s a sweet sweet tale with a bit of sadness, but it goes with a nice touch in terms of closure.
Music wise, it’s sweet and adorable. If I didn’t know any better, I’d say the opening and ending tracks were done by the same artists from Azumanga Diaoh. There’s nothing lacking in animation. If there were fewer characters, then there might have been a few problems with personalities (mainly interaction with each other) and the display and array of expressions. There was some confusion for me ‘Personally’. In one episode we see a shinto priestess and a photographer of sorts spying on the girls. Later we learn that the priestess has high spirit awareness capabilities and felt that the girls were vengeful spirits and comes to eliminate them. Prejudice anyone? Anyway, my main concern is: did she use her abilities to track them down? Or by some other methods? It’s almost given that yes she did use her powers, but I’d like to know exactly how. I love the voice acting for this series mainly because they kept voices from the 1st season. Particularly Momo’s and Akane’s were both soft spoken and sweet, and still are.
I’d say this one will be one of my favorites for a long time.

Ahh... the upgraded version of Tenshi no Shippo aka Angel's Tail, "Tenshi no Shippo ~chu~" aka Angel's Tail 2. I was rejoice to be able to watch more of this anime... Being a fan of this anime, I was really happy that the 2 season turns out to be a better one.
Animation:
The animation is really bright, the artwork is great and the colours are soft and radiant. The characters are lively and overall, the animation is really good. Nothing really changed here compared with the last season, well... maybe the artwork gets a bit brighter... =_="
Story Plot:
Same thing repeating itself, nothing really serious happening as well but in this season, you get to know more of the story and characters. It gets better with humour than it used to be. There is slight improvement though and it seems that the characters have grown up and our hero is a vetenaranian at last. The ending is quite nice although it ended with "To be continued". So I was wondering is there going to be a continuation? I just have to be patient about it.
Characters:
I don't want to elaborate much of the characters here as I have did it in Angel's Tail review. Here in Angel's Tail 2, the characters appearance has changed alot and majority of them is turning into much prettier and cuter. The older girls are getting more attractive and elegant while the younger ones getting older and look more cuter in their own ways. The character development is still the same, nothing much really develop them. The only thing they did is improve the character's appearance and I'm glad they did, I'm getting more attracted to them in sense of character appearances. Ahh... Akane-chan...
Music:
Nothing much change here as well but still the opening and ending is nice. I still love it! ^^
Overall:
This is a rather simple anime and I would recommend new viewers to watch Angel's Tail aka Tenshi no Shippo first before watching this 2nd season. Nothing really change much here in 2nd season accept for the major changes on their character's appearance which is a GOOD THING!!
I'm giving another 1 point for the improvement of characters.
I've watched many anime with the same genre like Tenshi no Shippo. Sister Princess, Futakoi, Happy Lesson, Maid In Hanakyou, you name it!!
BUT STILL!!! I think Tenshi no Shippo would have been one of the best there is... Thus, 8/10 + 1/10 (Improvement of Character's appearances) = 9/10!!

Based on the reviews on Angel's Tail Part one, who would have thought they would go and make another one? I don't know if I should be glad that I haven't watched Angel Tail 1, or regret watching part 2. This series is very similar to Kanon such as the animal aspect and the one guy surrounded by many girls (which happens to be the plot in so many anime series these days). There are so many characters I can't keep up with them, nevermind relate with them.
I wonder if I should label myself as finishing the series because I tried to, oh how much I tried. I had to force myself to watch all the episodes but I would rather fall asleep than watch anymore. I think I stopped around episode five. There's something defenitely wrong when you're forcing yourself to watch an anime series, shouldn't anime be entertainment? Angel's Tail unfortunately was not entertaining. Bland characters and a plot that is well off vibrant.
Good qualities about this anime series is probably the relatively attractive characters and chuckling situations. Perhaps the opening/ending songs are good but since I can't remember them, I'm sure they were not that great. I'm not saying to avoid this series at all costs, there are plenty of anime series out there with the similar plots and are probably way better than this. On the other hand in relaton to what I said earlier, avoid this series? Please do.
