ANIMATION: This is a beautifully animated series. The various worlds (including deep-space scenarios) and the different settings provide multiple opportunities for the artists to spread their metaphorical wings. The shining element of this show is the character design. Five adorable cuties to satisfy all sorts of fan-boys and the costume design really delves into the creative energy. (10/10)
MUSIC: One of the popular features of Galaxy Angel is the wide variety of music it offers. Not only are the different title sequence themes enjoyable, but the character image songs and in-episode music are of peak quality. Music is lively and upbeat, sparking demand for many seiyuu-starred concerts in Japan. (10/10)
CHARACTERS: I plugged the art and the sound enough, but even on top of those two elements combined is the character cast. The members of the Angel Brigade (Milfeulle, Mint, Ranpha, Forte, and Vanilla) plus their commander and rival squads all put together a fantasically invigorating series. As a viewer, you really get to know the personalities of all of the characters as though you've known them intimately for years. The energy that the ensemble emminates as they react to eachother is pure gold entertainment quality. (10/10)
STORY: Putting it bluntly, there is no plot for Galaxy Angel III (same as the previous seasons I and II, and consequently season IV), but that is where the magic comes from. The basic premise is that the girls are a galactic-military unit that combs the universe for Lost Technology (strange items with odd and mysterious powers). Each episode revolves around a different Lost Technology and the effect it has on the crew. Despite the lack of linearity or continuity among the episodes, each adventure is intriguing and will leave you desperately clamoring for more. (10/10)
OVERALL: Galaxy Angel is perfect 10s all across the board. If you're looking for pure comedy and wacky hilarity, this is the series you should be picking up. I can't stress how well the characters will grip you, picking a favorite will prove to be an impossible choice for most. The stand-alone episodes also make this series easy to pick up on a lazy afternoon for some quick entertainment. (10/10... Perfect 5 stars)
