Wow i remember when i was a boy watching Zoids. This anime was very compelling and drew me into it forcing me to watch every episode that aired. The complex characters and bonds that the characters shared with one another made this anime more unique than any other that i have watched.
The action scenes are similar to the Gundam series with intense machine fighting. The graphics at the time were above my expectations. 10/10- looks
The Characters in the story were top-notch and there were so many that it was hard to remember them all, every character was complex displaying many emotions and acted differently in the story. 9/10- Characters
The storyline was also exciting which was one of the few animes that got me hooked into more than just the action but also the conversations. 10/10-story
Overall, I give this anime a 10/10
I recommend this to everyone who likes either Gundam, good storyline or just love old school anime. I hope you enjoy it.

Zoids was, without a doubt, probably one of the first anime that got me interested in the medium and made me want to find out more. Other work like Pokemon, which I'd seen earlier, though it made me Pika crazy like many others, it never made me curious to find out more.
The only problem was that though I saw all of the episodes, I was in a foreign country at the time, so I neither saw it in its original japanese or its later english dub. But that didn't stop me from being any less interested, plus it gave me some valuble insight: that hispanic dubbings are indeed better than their counter-parts, the english ones. Everyday at 4pm I would sit down to an episode and let my mind be taken away, while I immersed myself into the plot as it unfolded.
The animation was perfect. I could find no fault to critisize.
The music, like all anime for me, has to be well-suited for the part, and frankly, it was so brilliant that I found myself searching on the web for the soundtrack for the series. Regretfully, I failed.
The story was definitely a hit in my opinion. Original, fresh, an emotional roller-coaster that showed the struggle of one boy - Van, as he made friendships; matured; and eventually, defeated his enemies.
Overall, this series deserves nothing less than a 10!
