I'm not a huge Naruto fan. In fact lets just be blunt, I despise Naruto, for a lot of reasons. This one isn't yet another Naruto. Its better in a lot of ways, from the humor, to the main characters. However, I'm just not really in the mood for another Super powered, Shounen Ninja show. And that is what this is turning out to be. Pass.

Honestly had no expectations at all on this show and one of the first thing that struck me was the voices of Hino Satoshi and Kugimiya Rie who voiced Saito/Shana in Shakugan no Shana. As it shouldn't really come as a surprised that they worked together again on another show it most defiantly felt weird at first. The other thing that surprised me was the amount of violence and blood in this show. As the style felt more of a typical shounen type of ninja anime so I didn't expect the main people to kill their enemies, it really throws you off and I don't mean it as a bad thing. It helps bring out that it's a bit more serious tone and shows that our cast isn't as innocent as your typical shounen type of characters. I really do like the darker parts of this show mixed together with abit of wacky moments and it helps keep it all interesting. Though on the flip side the main character is so far quite boring in comparison to some of the other characters.

Interesting show, another in the Angelique series, which if you've seen one, you pretty much understand the basic premise of the show. Pretty girl, has some power, is surrounded by Bishies. If that's the kind of thing you enjoy, then great. This one seems thus far to be slightly better written than previous versions of the series. Being a sometimes fan of the reverse Harem genre, I'm going to keep watching, and hope this story turns out better than previous ones have.

This was one that reading about it prior to watching, I wasn't exactly excited. The idea of another Lupin-type show, isn't something that thrilled me with anticipation. However so far I have been very impressed with this show. The animation production values are terrific, set in the past. While there are a ton of plot holes so far, and while the characters keep talking about becoming a killer, so far its still extremely good.

I find it hard too really judge this show so far for one simple reason, the show seems to be divided into two different parts. The first part the "prologue" revolves around Chika whiles she's still a child and after the "prologue" is over they'll jump forward to when she's older. Now that's not what I'd call a bad thing since it sets a lot of the story into motion however it's sad that the outcome of the prologue seems rather obvious (unless they throw in a unexpecting twist). Even so I do look forward too watching the rest of this show and seeing how the story will unfold.

I didn't think too much of this one when I read the synopsis. In fact, I thought it sounded terrible. But after giving the first episode a try, I admit, I'm hooked. The fact that the girls are actually realistic in body types is a first, as well. Other than Red Garden, I can't remember a show when that actually made girls, particularly the main characters, less then beautiful. I have high hopes for this show.

It’s a show by Masamune Shirow and Production IG. If you know what those two are, then you’ll stop reading right there and go and watch this show. If you don’t know, then maybe names like Ghost in the Shell or Ghost Hound ring a bell. Suffice it to say that the above combination is simply extremely unlikely to fail. I've only seen the first episode so far so I’m not 100% sure what the show is about yet but it’s quite futuristic and we already have words like cyber-brains being tossed around (though the vibe you get from it is miles away from Ghost in the Shell). So, for now just know that it looks absolutely fantastic, and feels very mysterious and exciting. Definitely near the top of my to-watch list but haven’t seen enough of it for a clear judgment.
Recommendation: Moderate to High
