Fate-stay Night
Tainaka Sachi
"Disillusion" |
bluemage
Disillusion is pretty epic when the animation and the song come together. The song's high-energy feel suits the energy that exudes from the series as the Masters and Servants fight against one another for the Holy Grail. Definitely one of the best OPs ever!

Tanuka
A great song for a great anime. Disillusion reflected the entire feel of Fate/stay Night and the use of keyboards and piano were excellent. The vocalist's powerful voice that first went from soft and light to loud and powerful didn't let me down either.

wilhemina
I chose this because it's one of those songs that sort of play in my mind in the background while I watch FSN, which to me indicates that it pretty much captures the essence of the series.

DKnight
A very haunting tune that completely fits the Fate/Stay Night series.

Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu
Mikuni Shimokawa
"Could this be Love" |
lifeline706
Beautiful, clean animation, brilliantly synchronised with the lovely song by Mikuni Shimokawa. An excellent example of brilliant use of CG-drawn animation beautifully used to accompany a song that works extremely well as a romantic contrast to the outrageously hilarious antics of its cast.

Also known as "Sora Ga Ai Deshou", I just couldn't help to love this theme. Its just soothing, the lyrics are fresh and relaxing, and it goes with the whacky flow of Fumoffu. I loved every Full Metal Panic, and they all had good themes, but this one takes the cake for most catchy and brilliant. Great to listen to after a hard days work to relax yourself, try it!

When come to opening songs the is one of the opening songs that i wont skip ever. Its just perfect, the lyrics, music, anime opening scenes, Mikuni Shimokawa (I am her FAN!!!), if its not in the top anime opening list then i don't know what will.

Bleach
Orange Range
"*~Asterisk" |
eyesotope
* Asterisk gave a feeling of freshness along with wonky colors and Bleach's character design, it felt new and refreshing back then, and while "refreshing" is probably something that can't be said easily about bleach anymore, it's first opening will always remind me of that freshness it once had.. hence I always keep it on my mobile :D

If i had to pick my best bleach op it would have to be Asterisk by Orange Range the song rocks and what caught my eye in op was the fashion they all look cool it just sets the mood for an action pack adventure.

Let's get this clear... I'm not a big fan of Bleach. I don't think I ever will be, but if there is one thing that was great about the start of the show, it definitely has to be Orange Range's OP. This perhaps was why so many anime fans have probably stuck with Bleach so far. It's one of the better Japanese raps I've encountered that wasn't afraid to mix up its tempo or rhythm. "Asterisk" was energetic and lively. Most of all, it had soul. I couldn't help but be sucked into the world of Bleach due to the sheer depth and variety of this song.

I really love the song of this opening, I could listen to it all day. The animation itself is also really well done, and the whole thing just looks great.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

"Bouken Deshou? Deshou?" |
Kumo
It's hard to figure out a short comment about a song and animation but I'll try. Bouken Deshou? Deshou? has a nice going and the animation is fantastic. I especially like the begining. The song definetly sets the mood for the series.

Sneakabout
No more is needed, I'll be amazed if this doesn't get the top spot. Great sound and the classic dance.<
|
Cosmica
Firstly the song is great. I like the little things in the opening, like the Drake's equation and E=mc^2 in the background. How Mikuru's sequence features things related to time and measuring it. Kyon's reactions. And let's not forget the cute Nagato-san.

rdash
A song with great choreography. I'm interested to see they all dance to the rhythm of the song.
