Macademi Wasshoi!
Takuto leads a double life. He is a rather normal boy at school, but he is a growing magic user at Magician's Academy. For his Summoning Exam, he manages to bring forth something unusual. Not quite something, but someone. A primal girl with blazing red hair bombards the scenes and Takuto can't seem to put things under control! His instructor, Sakumo and cousin, Suzuho do not have the power to keep her wild antics at bay.
They do not know if she is a demon nor god. But they know, a little too well, that she holds immense powers. Takuto gives her the name Tanarot and he is immediately put into contract. Newly summoned Tanarot is now his servant. Takuto's double life seems to have changed into something more than just two!

Based on the OP, I'd have said give it a pass. However after watching more of it. Despite some of the artwork, I found myself actually enjoying the show. It seems like a mixture of Negima and Sumomomo. I have to admit this one looks like a pleasant surprise.

Macademi Wasshoi definitely doesn't outshine any series this season in any single aspect, but I do find myself coming back for more. The series doesn't have anything original going for it, and it just seems to borrow overused stereotypes and scenarios. I did like the claymation used for censoring, as I have not encountered that use of claymation before. MW's pacing is very awkward, and I don't like the way the story seems to be unfolding. I will see where this goes, but I warn you now, don't have high expectations for MW. The series is far from a great series.

Super hot Milf, breaks out of jail, and rescues her poor abused daughter from the girls foster family. Riding off into the sunset with the cops hot on their tail. The first episode reminded me a lot of Fooly Cooly for some reason. But it was just too cool. Not sure yet where this is going, but so far, it definitly looks to be worth watching.

Somewhat of a late starting show. The first episodes opened up a lot of questions, but I really enjoyed the episodes. Lots of action from Michiko and great animation. The first episode was a bit frustrating when watching Hatchin's situation, but the story moves on. I liked the episode and look forward to more fun episodes.

Here we go again. While the first season did not leave you hanging as much as other series it still left enough loose ends and hopefully this season will answer them. Taking place 4 or 5 years after the first season, a lot has changed and the characters seem more grown up so far - it also gets reflected in their appearances. While the first episode in itself was quite predictable it was still enjoyable and manages to leave me craving for more. The action is fluid and flows quite well not to mention all the pretty lights they have. While it's too soon to tell I hope that the Gundams themselves will be more down to earth like in the first season and not go all God like, like they did in Seed and Seed Destiny.
The op and ed are among my favorites this season, UVERworld FTW!!! While I haven't seen that many Gundam shows the op feels quite typical gundamish. They have a nice start with a mix of reminiscence from the first season and the horrors of war moving on to the present and of course some mech action. I can't quite say the ed is as gundamish it's quite mellow and brings in more of a feeling of loss and moving on while hinting at things to come.
While you'll miss out a lot if you haven't seen the first season, I think it's still doable to start with the second season if you're prepared to not understand all the character relations, though I wouldn't recommend it. If you watched the first season you should pick it up if for nothing else to see how the whole thing will end.

Personally, I considered the first season of this show a moderate disappointment. The Gundam Wing-esque antics and approach were a mild let-down from the start, and the eventual developments of the show in my opinion, left much untapped potential that this season is not entirely likely to touch upon.
But I digress. This season switches the Gundam Wing approach for something more like Zeta Gundam. It looks like originality is not high up in 00's list of priorities. Even so, the more worthwhile inspirational material may pay off in the long run. There is still much to be done in terms of characters, even though the setting already has me shaking my head at the degree I'll buy the story. At the very least this season offers lots of eye candy thanks to its design choices and, so far, smooth animation. I just hope it cranks out better food for thought that the first season did. But I won't hold my breath.
Outlook: Moderately good (At worst it will be entertaining; requires first season to make sense).

I'm a sucker for Sunrise series, with the exception of Gundam Seed Destiny, and Gundam 00 doesn't disappoint. I still love the animation style and quality, the music is pretty good, and most of the characters are back along with new ones too. If you liked the first season, don't hesitate to pick up the 2nd season. I really liked the way the story seemed to be progressing so far, and the opening episodes provide a lot of new questions. If you however haven't seen the first season, I would not recommend watching Gundam 00 Season 2 because you do need a lot of background information regarding the series. Personally, Gundam 00 is one of the top series this season for me.

I just love Nodame Cantabile. Its protagonists are probably two of my all-time favorite characters, and the anime itself is lively and lighthearted, with no forced moments. The second season seems to keep up to the "legacy" that the first season maintained so far. It's Nodame, baby!
Outlook: Outstanding!

For some reason, I naturally do not follow up on sequels unless it's extremely, addictingly good. Nodame Cantabile was one of them. It's a rare valuable that mixes in excellent characters, lovely music, and charming comedy. There are only a few anime that have me laugh out loud. With only the first episode, I know this will be within my top favourites of this fall season. Heck, the top list for the year! I've already had a good laugh with Nodame trying to learn French.
Watching this again has kicked in a reminder of how great the characters are. It has definitely pinched me to nominate Nodame as my favourite character. You'll also find that there is an Otaku in residence to the main cast. Yay for anime references! Not only that, but there's a competitive feel too, with Chiaki's composer competition. Love what Nodame Cantabile is bringing. It must be tough, tough work to reiterate all that music and define it in a composer's point of view while having the music playing along with it. If only I was more experienced with music I would enjoy this even more. Although that's hard to imagine since I'm completely basking in it now.
Outlook: Outstanding!

Well, the OP sucked, the ED was ok, but nothing outstanding, however the story... Come on, its Nodame! This is one of the ones I've been anticipating ever since I heard it was coming. Having said this, I'm a bit disappointed in it so far. They are skipping a lot of what made the original great. And they're leaving out the music. I'll still watch it to the end, however I'll just have to hope things improve from here.

NCP is just as funny, if not more so, than the previous season. I really enjoy watching Nodame, Chiaki, and all the other characters interact with each other. Nodame is her same unique and funny self, while Chiaki is still overly frank and easily angered. Some new characters are thrown into the mix which is expected as Nodame and Chiaki are now in Paris. I can't wait to see where this goes.

Rosario + Vampire Capu2
It will be Tsukune's 2nd year in Youkai academy. Though he's used to being the only human, the bus driver still warns him to be careful. Tsukune didn't know what to expect, but he bumps into a cute girl (rather, the girl crashed into him) on the way to school. She reacts very angrily, but notes that Tsukune has a very attractive smell - could she be a vampire?
Everyone is ecstatic to be reunited with Tsukune again. Kurumu is still flirtatious, Yukari will always be cute, Mizori has always been a stalker. Lastly, Moka is relieved to simply to attend classes again with Tsukune. However, the start of the year isn't all fun and games; Moka starts to receive multiple suspicious letters that have threats to take her life. With the increasing amount of letters, she begins to get frightened. However, she finds out that packs a punch more powerful than just threats. The person behind these letters is her very own sister!

You only need one word to describe Rosario + Vampire... PANTIES. If you like these undergarments whether striped, frilly, pink, or just plain white then this is perfect for you. You receive panty shots -ad nauseum-. Safe to say that if you enjoyed the first season, then you'll like this. There is some action, supernatural elements, and normal-guy-surrounded-by-beautiful ladies. I particularly like the detail in background scenes. The setting involving "spooky" horror themes is always a plus. It's nice to look at, certainly, but the additional story is nothing to run home about. Unless you're completely in love with Moka, then the introduction of her seemingly-conniving sister should be exciting! Not for me though! I find it rather mediocre. Will not be watching this one folks. I think Rosario to Vampire Capu2 has more underwear glances than looking into my drawer.

If you enjoyed the first series, then you'll undoubtedly be back for more. If you didn't, then you should probably give this a pass. Oddly enough, I thought the first series was crap, and yet for reasons that are hard to explain, I'm watching it anyway. Hopefully it turns out better then the first one did. If nothing else, I'll enjoy the fanservice!

I normally dislike shows that are too overtly shonen. This one definitely qualifies in that respect. However the fact that its about a dead girl, and is more supernatural then shonen, overcomes my normal reluctance to watch. Needs a few more episodes before I can really make a decision one way or another, but so far, this looks to be one of the exceptions to the rule. I'm actually looking forward to more.

I'm not too sure what to make of this series yet, it's violent and dark while at the same time it tries to be lighthearted as well in the form of the perverted monk. As I've always been a fan of darker and more serious shows this seem to fit in perfectly. And the animation and style of it all is fitting. A few minor problems with the show is that the characters haven't really had any chance to really establish themselves and are kinda lacking at the moment, hopefully that will change soon. And Ouri is a strange character as he sees a talking cat that leads him around from time to time and thinks nothing of it, at least freak out a little. Not to mention he can walk past a hallway full of corpses albeit somewhat out of sight without any problems even if he's more used to death than others it's just weird to see him so calm with it all. I also feel that his voice is somewhat lacking, as the tone of his voice almost never change it takes away the feelings of certain scenes when his voice doesn't match his actions and body language. While I do generally like songs from Angela it feels like her voice doesn't quite fit this anime as such the op and ed feels kinda misplaced. Last complaint would probably I have no idea what to think of the ass shot and that kind of fan service in the opening, it just kinda clashes with it all.
All complaints aside I like the style and the mood that the show sets and while it might seem to have a lot in common with Zombie-Loan with all the undead hunting undeads while under some kind of contract the similarities pretty much stops there. While nothing of a real main story started yet I'm looking forward to see what kind of story they'll give us.

I have mixed feelings about SHA. The series just seems to be a mixed bag to me. Not too much is revealed so far, so I'm not too sure what to think. The ghosts and dead bodies are pretty creepy looking at times, but nothing in the series will really scare you. I enjoy watching SHA, but not as much as other series. We'll see where it goes, so for now I'll stick with it.

Well as the first episode starts off with a flashback it's hard to say how the second season will turn out, but for those that haven't seen the first season the flashback can help fill you in a little. But you'll miss out on a lot because the first season was entertaining and a fun watch. Though it should be noted that it's not without its faults, for one I don't particularly like indecisive characters and it's a little bit too "sweet" sometimes. However it should be quite safe to say that if you liked the first season then you'll like the second season as Amu & the rest continue their search for the Embryo. By the way I hope Nadeshiko comes back real soon... ahh can't wait.
