Nagato Yuki

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

simpleandclean While the rest of SOS fan club is voting Haruhi and Kyon, I must vote for Yuki. For being a supporting character, she is incredibly dynamic and has a lot of growth throughout the season. Also, ashe has a stronger mystery factor that cannot be matched by the other characters (yes, more so than Haruhi). Haruhifan Yuki is quiet, a bookworm and short on words, sometimes behind her glasses or her favorite book. So why is she one of my favorites? It's because she's also an alien fighter, a computer whiz, but most of all, she cares for her friends, gives way for their causes, and has a cool, quiet demeanor to herself. She's "calm, cool and collected" personified, something not too commonly found in female cast members. cong11 She is a quiet person, which makes her very mysterious. She may not look like it, but she is actually an alien. I liked her super ability such as the way she played the multi player game using micro management, that is way too powerful!

Kurosaki Ichigo

Xi-1 Here's my vote for Representative Shinigami Ichigo Kurosaki -- Primary Protector of Karakura Town. Not since first becoming a Shinigami has Ichigo disappointed me even once. He has stuck by his beliefs, although he's had to have a few reminders as to HOW to go about it. His many layers come out again with his fear of his greater powers, like the Hollow transformation and mask. Despite that fear, and with help from friends and allies like Inoue and Shinji, Ichigo's gone way past the point of fear to become still more powerful, in DiamondDust as well as in the Amagai arc. It's not EVERY protagonist who gets to play guiding light to a genius captain AND a member of Seireitei's elite nobles -- and look good while doing it all. He seems to be the first one Yama-jii turns to in a crisis, and there are several good reasons for that. Ichigo continues to shine with the light of Tensa Zangetsu and his determination to protect those who are important to him. And damned if he and Inuoe didn't make quite the good-looking pair when last we saw them at Las Noches. eyesotope I vote for Ichigo once again.. I have to say that among the many lead characters I've seen in manga and anime Ichigo is definitely one of my favorites, not just because he's a good fighter in typical shounen lead character fashion, but because he never wavers, never hesitates or has doubts in what he must do... even when he's losing in battle his eyes continue reflecting his confidence and resolve. The main reason why I still follow bleach after all this time. Enough said. shinigami83 I like him because he is very strong and responsible, but still he is childish in many areas. As said, he is strong and powerful but he is human in the way that he makes a lot of mistakes but he will try and correct them.

Shana

Shakugan no Shana

Shade_30 An annoying, (but cute!) girl with burning hair and a katana? Bingo right there. Shana is one of the best examples out there of how a person can really change, she starts off quite cold, but then slowly softens up and becomes really nice. And that's not everything, since she is a kick-ass fighter as well! Quakis I'm sure thousands of people love Shana by now, so my vote for this character probably isn't very original. She's interesting, adorable and a lovable character despite her moods. Though I do prefer her character designs from the official artwork a lot more than in the anime. Ghostalker Shana stand the test of time for me, no matter how many good characters have gone by, for me SHE is still the best. What makes Shana stand high above the rest? Not only is she "The Flame-Hair Red Hot Eyes Hunter," but her voice is really very adorable, especially when her face goes all red while saying "Urusai! Urusai! Urusai!" She is strong willed, and she loves melon pan. Her tsundere attitude is also an added bonus. Two-thumbs up for Shana-chan!

Anonymous One of my favorite characters and one of the first animes I watched. I loved his attitude towards life, his fighting style and love his emotions. hitokirijaywho Ah, the story of a killer whose hands are drenched in blood trying to redeem himself. The TV series made you laugh, cry, and cheer and the OAV lets you know just how good at killing he really was. Tatsurou Too much goodness in a character who is marred by a dark past? Nah... you can't deny the fact that Kenshin is a really powerful character, who still taught people about principles and morals.

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion

NatureDragon C.C.'s witty yet cute personality makes her one of my favorite characters ever! The way she hugs her soft toy is extremely cute. She is very unique as she was still able to express her feelings of love and concern over others even though she had experienced tons of hardships. saintmishy A lot of people will vote for Lelouch, the Demon King, but I decide to vote for the person who gave him the Geass and made him to become the Demon King - C.C. The mysterious partner-in-crime of Lelouch is no character to laugh about- she saves him countless times, comes back to life every time she gets shot, and, add to all that, loves to eat pizza and squeeze Cheese-kun. Who doesn't love a green-haired witch whose wish is to be loved in return? I love CC! Kushi Beautiful green hair immortal obsessed with pizza. Ignoring the stoic personally, C.C is absolutely to die for. Smart, sassy, beautiful and with a sweet side she deep inside her. She is a goddess.
