Kyou No Go No Ni
Molenir
Surprisingly moving, yet very funny to watch, Kyou no Go no Ni had entertaining characters, music, and story. I found I enjoyed it despite the frequent sexual innuendo.

I love the random, awkwardness and learning experience these bunch of young characters went through.

Rosario To Vampire

I'm abit bias on this one for I just find Moka too... kawaii! She has a uber cool vampire side too heheh. However this series stands out for me too, how often do u see such extremely ravishing babes covering up as demons within ... well actually very often, but the point is, the pl0t in itself is pretty interesting. Plus it takes the perspective of a demon's 'point of view' in school, and how Tsukune manages to survive his days in that school. Now that, is interesting to watch.

Varied and memorable in terms of characters; heartfelt and cool in terms of plot.

Macademi Wasshoi!

The overall zaniness of this anime combined with the cute characters made this one fun to watch.

A good take on the clasic harem formula but not over pretenchous with plot and plenty of screen time and claymation.

Akane-iro No Somaru Saka

Between the Genokiller, and the mixed up love of everyone involved this show is top stuff. the humor is subtle and obvious at the same time and the story line is amazing. A great show for anyone.
Den8383
A funny and interesting show with lots of laughter guaranteed!

Kurozuka
Valor
A great show with a lot of action and blood, which indeed made me watch it from the very beginning And the fighting, well, can't get enough of it. I love the movement, specially Kuro's, which can make you jump from sitting position in a chair. Yeah, that man can really fight. 1 vote for Kurozuka!

Kurozuka is an amazingly well-balanced anime that isn't needlessly stretched out with fillers and yet is still able to provide a depth to its characters that is not even found in animes that are on their 204 episode. I think it should win because it isn't the same story old story of a vampire; even when compared to other animes not involving vampires, Kurozuka has an extremely unique plot, and characters.

Kamen No Maid Guy
Haruhifan
Now I saw lots of wacky animes. I saw some hilarious comedies. This one is beyond all that logic. Heck, the Maid Guy Kogarashi would likely use one of his many Maid powers to stare logic down, strip it naked and then fight it to the death. I kid not how even if this anime made little to no sense, I didn't care, and I anticipated each episode. Even if it was short (and we can only hope Madhouse goes mad and gives it a season 2 to continue the countdown to Naeka's inheritance), each time you heard KOTOKO's Special Life! opening song, you wanted to jump into the insanity of fighting male and female maids, tons of ecchi fan service (but in this anime that's fine since you know it's coming from the start; it's just you'll have no clue HOW it will come at you), and a crazy mix of fights and comedic moments that rank up there with the random comedic animes like Excel Saga, Azumanga Daioh, Full Metal Panic Fumoffu, Macademi Wasshoi and Kyouran Kazoku Nikki among others. But this series is simply beyond them all for the main Maid, Kogarashi. Just LOOK at him! He's looks like Wolverine from the X-men with Sabretooth's body in a maid's outfit and a ninja mask. That alone made me weary of how good it would be but I trudged on, and I did not regret a moment, though I question what sanity I got left. The violence and ecchi levels in this anime would make censors cry. Scholars would shake their heads that this was made. Who cares?! This anime is my top choice for being the ultimate escapist experience of 2008, and maybe of all time. Just loose yourself, or else Kogarashi might trot his macho maid persona into YOUR life!

A male maid!? Don't let first impressions win you over. This is one of the funniest animes I have ever seen. With a maid who has obscene powers like being able to have x- ray vision to see girls underwear, to being able to shred with his teeth, you never know whats going to happen, Kukuku.

Hyakko
Naama
Absolutely the funniest anime this year. This show is so bizzare and every situation is so funny and inventive- it's absolutely one of the best animes I have watched.

One sentence... Hyakko is EPIC LIKE LUCKY STAR OR AZUMANGA DIAOH!! XD Every episode makes you laugh!
Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu
Xi-1
I had thought of giving this vote to Akane-iro Somaru Saka but Haruka's gang deserves it more: Of all the romantic comedies to come out in 2008, Haruka's is definitely the best. The zaniness of the characters, mixed with their secret, which helped to develop the plot, moved things along in a way that made me anticipate each week's next release. Besides Haruka's general cute-ness (of which she has plenty) I doubt there was anyone who didn't appreciate the parodying and cosplaying of other series. For drama, comedy, romance, and quirky characters, here's one vote for the cosplaying otaku ojou.

Despite that fact that this show was painfully predictable I found myself immersed in it. The story moves at a great pace, the humor isn't solely focused on "accidental" moments of fanservice, the cast is very enjoyable. To wrap it up nicely I liked everything about show putting aside how predictable it was.

For a pretty generic show, I actually enjoyed this one quite a bit, though I couldn't exactly explain why. It had good artwork, some awesome fight scenes, and I guess I'm always a sucker for the harem angle :D

Toshokan Sensou aka Library Wars

Wow, what's with this animation?! And the characters ?! Even though I'm too dumb to really fully understand the plot, I still love it! The animation was so clear and they had sharpened the edges of the character lines, I love that! And of, the characters! I loved everyone of them. This certainly was much better than what I thought it would be!

While it felt too short I loved the animation, character development and overall theme of the anime.
