Kuroshitsuji
cynic0106
Kuroshitsuji is a perfect blend of horror, mystery, humour and drama, but what makes it really stand out is the lovable and unique characters, from the perfect demon butler to the traumatized and sombre child-earl-detective.

You start off thinking this would be a serious series, but as soon as the comedy starts, you fall in love, and laugh your ass off.

While watching this series, I found myself pulled into the flow that it created. The music enhanced the feelings that you got from watching it, even if the animation wasn't "up to date". What I liked about this show is that when something very emotional happened, you were already feeling the same emotion and once I was almost on the verge of tears. For me, this has to be one of the best anime's I have seen.

I always look for an anime that's breaks the mold of typical animation. Kaiba delievers and gets my vote not only for a very extraordinary and imaginative world and style that is created that is so outside the box of normal anime, but also for the weird freudianesque analysis of the mind.

Allison to Lillia
Coradee
I was first drawn to this series for its interesting art style, but the sweet, sincere story quickly captured my full attention. I would recommend Allison & Lillia to anyone who wants a good smile and a good air battle!

Somewhat, this managed to get my vote with such an enriching plot with very interesting character development, heck I was suprised when I reached half-way through the anime (don't want to spoil anything) and the shift of the main characters changed. <3 Allison <- Blond girls should be like her!

Somehow this anime just keeps your interest up with its very slow-paced drama. Characters, style, world and storytelling are awesome.

I loved the animation style; it is so clean and crisp. Reminds me a lot of Voices of the Distant Star. I loved how the creators took a relatively simple story and made it so interesting... it leaves me wishing this was a full normal series instead of the short special that it is.

Ooo yea baby... this is THE anime to watch, beautifully done, just perfect. Its not just about sports its skill!!! Skill in what? Skill of the Devil!!! If you like Hiruma in Eyeshield 21 it's the perfect example of cunning and pure skill added. The voice actor apparently is the same as well. Anyway it has a superb plot, good theme songs and a damn good character in it.

Unique 'sports' anime that's actually more about mind games and tactics than the typical example from the genre. Surprisingly effective given the heavy focus on the key character and the long stretches of narration.
