This is one of my favorite shows of this season, Guin himself is badass there's really no other way to describe him. I'm quite fond of the fact that there's no powers nor any fancy skills to be shouted, it's just simple sword fighting and brawling. That said Guin does make short work of everyone so far which makes the fights quite onesided. But as this show will probably keep going for some time there should be a lot of people that can give him a challenge. And the music is just great and one of the shows drawing points as Nobuo Uematsu of Final Fantasy fame produces the soundtrack to this title. The story is quite standard, a prince and princess flees their country as they're attacked by a invading country on the way they met Guin who protects them and I'm guessing in the long run they want to retake their country. But a good adventure and fantasy show is not to be missed out on and I think Guin Saga has the making of just that. However as other might fear is that this show is just going to drag on and on without anything really happening. As the novels it built upon have over 120 books there is a lot of material to cover and as someone who has not read these books it's hard to say what kind of development is in store for us.
Watch it, that's really all I got to say.

The animation and tone look superb! Everything is very detailed and you get an array of colours and lights. If you're looking for the beauty you experienced in Seirei no Moribito, you can find it in here. Guin Saga blends in adventure, fantasy, and some science-fiction elements. I'm very keen about adventures, so I'm looking forward to the journey that Remus and Rinda will display. If it gives the same feel as Jyu Oh Sei - I'm all in! I do have one small complaint though, I feel that the theme of "amnesia" is wayyy overused. That's pretty much the only mystery they can input for Guin (the tiger-headed man). Fortunately, Rinda is a very likeable character, and that's what will keep me watching.

Hanasakeru Seishounen
Kajika is a natural beauty that longs to lead a normal life. Unfortunately, even a temporary attendance in a Japanese high school attracts attention. Kajika is half-Japanese and comes from a wealthy family. Her eyes alone can intimidate any foe. Her chance at an ordinary life is taken away when her father (Mr. Burnsworth) arranges a "Marriage Game".
Her father will choose 3 capable men, and Kajika is to choose her lifelong partner. That's not all, the candidate must choose her as well. The three men will not know that they are involved in the game. The rules seem simple, but Mr. Burnsworth seems to be keeping something else up his sleeve.

Spice, drama, and a reverse harem -- all with a political storyline attached. I don't know what will become of this, but I'm probably betting that I can guess the ending from the first few episodes - maybe. Again, another anime to pass the time: I don't really like it, nor do I really hate it. So far it's a typical reverse harem for me - with the pretty boys and the one beautiful girl in the middle.

I'm not really fond of the rich people theme in this show, and as I watched each episode I started to dislike Kajika more and more. In fact I wished that someone I didn't care anyone would just slap her. While she does have some good traits it doesn't cover the fact that she is utterly annoying. I'm sure she has her reasons etc but seriously can't stand her and just that keeps me from continuing watching this.

Hanasakeru Seishounen has a semi-interesting character. You get a half-Japanese bishoujo that doesn't act like anyone else. She sticks up for herself, and acts on her intuition on what she thinks is right. She grew up with a white leopard and has traveled to bounds of places, I bet. The character setting is quite interesting, however, how they're bringing out the main story is kind of chuckle-worthy. A marriage game? That's pretty off-hand. It's a bizzare way of executing a reverse harem. But, you know that most people will watch this because of the bishounen's.

Tainted by the horrific adaptation of Ichigo 100%, I was skeptical at how well the latest adaptation of a Kawashita manga would go. Luckily, Hatsukoi Gentei is already light-years ahead, and only continues to get better. Stylistically, the character design is immediately recognizable, and the animation is fairly simple and bright. I like how it rotates perspectives so it's more like short vignettes about falling in love than a generic romantic comedy plotline. It's almost as if the movie, Love Actually, was made into an anime. Very cute.

Ahhh. Hatsukoi Limited is a nice lighthearted way to pass the time. I specifically picked this up because it's by the infamous creator of Ichigo 100%. So far it's got a nice balance of love triangles (pentagons?) and comedy mixed in [along with that Ichigo 100% fanservice], and the art style is nice and reminiscent of the author's manga.

Mizuki Kawashita’s last anime adaptation ended up as a failure so I hesitated watching this in fear of being disappointed. Luckily J.C Staff was particularly good in genre… really good. It actually feels a lot like Kimikiss, which I really enjoyed. Being a series of short stories stringed together, each episode might feel a little disconnected and well… I fear that I won’t be able to enjoy it as much because of that, but we’ll see how J.C Staff brings it from here. I need to go beg them to remake Ichigo 100%.

Considering its storyline and beautiful cast of girls, I was expecting this to be more male-driven. I was pleasantly surprised! The splash of pastel colours and the simple presentation are very pleasant. The characters haven't won my love just yet, but there's plenty of time for that. Also, these girls have been very entertaining thus far. I was sort of disheartened at the first episode though. The romantic comedy could be very School Rumble-like. That is, the toughest guy in the school swooning over the innocent scatter brained school girl. I can sort of see why Ayu fell for Misao-kun though.
Outlook: Slightly Positive

Another nice sweet romance anime. I watched 2 episodes so far, and I am liking what I saw: great and unique set of characters, nice plot, and amazing pastel art used. For those who like Ichigo 100% will definitely like this anime.
