Clannad: The Movie
Anonymous
When most people hear about Clannad they immediately think of the anime. It's a shame the movie is so easily forgotten. The animations are no match for the anime version of Clannad, but Toei Animation still did a good job. The story of the movie is definitely much stronger, and also much sadder. I like this about the movie though, it is much more realistic.

Although the story followed in this movie was redone in Clannad: After Story, I think the movie delivered with much more impact. Extremely sad movie in many ways but becomes memorable for a very long time.

Laputa: Castle in the Sky
Zetsubou_Veska
It was a hard choice between this movie and Kiki's Delivery Service, but I think I chose well. Who could forget the pirates (especially Dola) and their antics? While this movie had some funny moments and some tense ones, the animation was still beautiful, no matter the situation.

It was beautiful and warm.

Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust

Right from the start, this movies goes straight for the jugular to entertain with its over-the-top action and cheezy dialog -- strangely it all works out. To this day, the art still remains gorgeous, but what stand out is its musical score. Ambitious, inspring the music fits well with the film's scenes -- especially in the quiet, tranquil moments. Rare to find a combination of quality artwork and music that is Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust.

All I have to say about this movie is great animation and graphics but also pretty decent story as well, although it seemed to me a bit short.

Ghost in the Shell: Innocence
Ghostalker
Innocence is probably one of the most graphically amazing anime movies ever produced; very detailed artwork, scenery, and action-packed, included is a good storyline. A nice addition to the Ghost in The Shell Universe.

Ghost in the Shell Innocence: A world where everyone has a degree in philosophy, everything that can be made CGI has been done so and cyborgs roam the streets. It truly is one of the most imaginative and well-constructed settings I've seen in an anime. Not as good as the original but still good enough to deserve a vote.
