Grave of the Fireflies

I felt physically ill after I watched this. It's so sad it's hard to describe. I was very skeptical when I watched this first time 'because I hate movies about WWII, I think it's the over used subject in whole world, but this movie was awesome. But be warned it will leave an empty space inside you which might never be healed.

You know, a lot of people are intimidated by this film's WWII theme. Don't let it stop you. This film is the perfect example of what war does to people, especially children. Even I, as probably one of the worlds least emotional people in the world, was bawling my eyes out by the end. It's like, you already know what's about to happen, and yet you still find yourself hoping that it won't. A masterpiece by all standards.

Stranja - Mukoh Hadan

I iked this movie because the animation was unlike no other and it was able to tie in a lot of action without straying away from the storyline. Noticing this made the movie that much more amazing. The character development was also something to be recognized as I found myself emotionally attached to nameless and Kotaro. I desperately wanted them to succeed in the movie and they did which again made me love this movie even more.

Out of all the movies that I've seen and all the movies I can remember, this one stands out. The storyline - in all its simplicity - draws you in and carries you until the very end. The characters are believable and so easy to fall in love with. The music is grand, giving the movie an epic feel. It was well written, well made, and definitely one of the best movies I've ever seen.

Classic about boundaries and how the term "Life" is defined.

I had seen a couple of animes before Ghost in the Shell. Two or three. But it was GitS that really peeked my interest in the medium. Granted the animation was not top notch as I watched it in December of last year so it was obviously dated. That did not affect the impact it left with me. The amount of thought put into the plot and characters is amazing. Thanks to this movie I am now a raving anime fan, and am constantly watching new shows.
