Hajime no Ippo will always make an impression on me for various reasons. The action and humour is top class and the characters are at least intriguing no matter how many years go by !! Can't wait for the new season !! ;p

This season of Hajime no Ippo focus more on Takamura and his quest for the world championship title. The fighting between him and his opponent was as good or even better than I had expected. Every episode made my heart pound in anticipation for the next one. For sports and shounen lovers, this is a MUST watch.

Who can deny the moe factor of Suou Pavlichenko? How about "How badass Hei in this series?" DTB: Ryuusei no Gemini has it all, tons of fast pace action, moe factor, a short but good storyline, some mystery, a bit of comedy and some romance all packed in a 12 episode sequel.

Ever since that false alarm kinda announcement that there'll be a 2nd season, I've been waiting, hoping, dreaming that it'll really happen, and honestly, it doesn't disappoint!! The quality of animation, story plot, production, music and the seiyuu is topnotch! Now I'm waiting, hoping, dreaming there'll be a 3rd season!

Bones never fails to impress, with each new series raising the bar for detailed action scenes, but that is not to say that the story was lacking by any means. DTB:Ryuusei no Gemini kept me anxiously waiting week to week for the next episode. Hei's evolution was one of the finer points of the season, though his combat prowess is ultimately what drives the show.

Excellent writing. The audience is made to connect intimately with the characters, to the extent that so many scenes are able to convey powerful messages from what is not said. An outstanding combination of characterisation and subtlety.

A wonderful, realistic anime, crossing an exciting, but not over the top, sport's story, with a beautiful love story that presents several different angles. Cross Game has a great cast with several good relationships, helping to perfect a balance between the serious and light-hearted moments. A gem of 2009, which if given a chance, anyone can enjoy.

Cross Game is different from other sports anime. It begins with a tragedy and slowly becomes a great shounen series with romantic undertones. Its 50 or so episodes span over 3 years. There is a great deal of character development as characters grow from troublesome kids to confident high-schoolers. As Koh and his team march towards Koshien, they overcome many problems. They show that persistence, hard work, friendship and a positive attitude are very important to reach a goal. Because of them, it's easy to love this show. Cross Game is an inspiring story that will brighten your day with every episode.
