Funny. It says it's a male name.. Actually it is both a male and a female name. I have a friend in Japan whose name is Makoto and she's a girl.. And I have a friend who has a friend in Japan whose name is also Makoto and that's a boy..

Well, the ecchiness blends with the humour really well, as far I can say. The only thing that makes me feel a little uncomfortable is when Mako does the shaking thing on the 'male-part' while wondering what's up with the 'female-part'. Confused

I like this manga.
Like the adult humour very much. Not some boring hentai.
Gives you the feeling to want to know more 'What the hell is Mako?'
I wonder if there is a poll on 'What would you do if you are Mako?'

Let's see, how many people does that make who know Makoto's secret?
1) Hiromi
2) That boy Makoto fell in lust with
3) Tomoki
4) Presumably his/her grandpa
4.5) That girl who's after Kana suspects Mako of being a transvestite.

... All in all, I'd say it's not such a bad idea to get semi-professional advice on how to hide some of Mako's "assets" a little better, especially with that bloody player and Kana after her now.

*cough* Sidenote: I hope Mako doesn't pursue Ayame too much. I mean ... she looks like a little kid! It's kinda ... off. Like Mako's "dad"said, she's a bit too eager to get into the next physical relationship.

Hmmm ... If Mako is, indeed, half-alien as was told in a previous spoiler, I wonder how much the human component is affecting her behaviour. Mako's dad clearly didn't believe in safe sex, or he/she wouldn't have sired Mako on her mother, but there isn't a long trail of Mako's all over Japan. We might assume siring Mako was a one-time thing that "dad" may have regretted doing later. Are humans more prolific than the aliens? Or does Mako take after her "dad" after all?

Just a question; who else has this gut feeling that eventually, Makoto is going to hook up permanently with Hiromi? They're not really related by blood, if I recall correctly. Hiromi's "mom" adopted her after her dad died, Hiromi's "mom" is Mako's grandfather's daughter ... There's no biological impediment, which I think is what would worry them most after the social taboos - for which Mako apparently has little understanding.

Or does anyone think she'll disappear into outer space with her "dad"?
