Welcome to A-Source xD
The Good: Too obvious.
The Bad:With Internet comes internet piracy, people who sit around being gaining weight (like me), identity theft, hungry pedophiles, and computer game related deaths.
If I ever video game death myself, I think I'd suicide if they brought me back to life. _________________ GG |

Totally, the Intenet has improved our lives in the way we spread ideas like I am doing now, and easier acsess to needed information
Of course there are the bad things like slow computers and lack of protection making it a pain in the ass to maintian and own a computer.
you can think of the intenet as the new "Movable Type" from the olden days during the French Revolution. It made the cost of books go down and it became easier for people to learn and be well educated. So people today are becoming smarter and pretty soon there will an "American Revolution" (Maybe) |

| It's kind of weird asking this question, on the internet. I think everybody here would love the internet as much as me/I. |

| ..to some point ..no one can deny the improvement ...but what about the fact that people especially family members ..grow apart cuz of it they don't sit together ...or talk ..they are spending more and more time on the net ..then in doing other things or iiving life ..also ,there is the problem of kids going on line ..and the problems ..that come out of it . |

It definitely has improved my live i guess. In some way it also screwd it up. Ofcourse i make new friends on internet and can chat with them. But it also makes it easier for me to just stay home, and sort of losing some social contact with nearby friends.
But i wouldn't wanna imagine how my live would be without internet... I would never had the joy of online game or watching anime than. And ugh.. imagine having to PAY for all your software..
Imagine paying the Adobe CS packet... It's about 1k euro. And ofcourse i understand they deserve payment for there hard work. But for a student like me it's basically impossible to cough up that money just for making some sig/avatars so once in awhile. _________________ [IMG:430:120:e3eaef3cc8]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s100/Sephi2K7/Signature/Yurisigv1b.jpg[/img:e3eaef3cc8] |

Well effiency wise we have indeed been improved by the introduction of Internet. But because of it relationship level has gone down.
Pros:
Without this we all be still researching and plaqueing the libraries in search of information. But the material would be limited to those of that countries. As well we get to communicate for FREE with the rest of the world. Share information obtain music of different culture. The internet helps in creating diverse communities.
Cons:
Family relationships has dropped severly. Hardly do we ever visit our cousins for a chat anymore. Why do that if you can sit there and do it instantly. As well tons more kids are online rather than being outside having fun and doing basically anything of that sort. _________________ [IMG:400:150:03f161352f]http://img410.imageshack.us/img410/2235/kitaassignaturejz2.jpg[/img:03f161352f] |

I suppose that's a case-by-case basis... I talk to my grandparents a thousand miles away every week now... before I'd talk them like twice a year. As for local relatives and family I live with, I don't think the internet will affect those ties much... if you like them, there's nothing to stop you from seeing them or picking up the phone. I think people use email as an excuse to avoid people.
All the other pros and cons I could think of have been mentioned... though another pro of mine is I'm much more creative now that I have an outlet to showcase my work which keeps my brain alive and well. As for my body, haha, that's a different story, but I blame poor diet and pure laziness rather than the internet. I can't wait for summer!! _________________

well obviously, the internet had done a lot of improvements in the human race, through the internet, with just clicks away, you can buy almost everything, can say almost everything and can gather information from almost everything.
but..........
also, the internet have made easier for us humans to do some acts that are somewhat "poison" the society, like porn (ahem....).
The internet itself is neither good nor bad, it's what you do with it that counts... |
