In the most recent issue of Monthly ShÅ?nen Gangan (whe the FMA manga is still going, it appears to have an ad declaring a new tv anime series of FMA.

Also wiki has this posted

"In the 20th manga volume, Arakawa announced that a second Fullmetal Alchemist anime television series is currently being produced.... The title of the new series and the expected premier date have not yet been released."

Can anyone confirm?

WELL THAT IS AWESOME I THOUGHT THAT THAT ANIME WAS WAY TO SHORT i am glad they are doing another one cant wait i hope it is about how they are in the real world and trying to get tha gate to close and what not and mabey getting to the world they are from

Question is, are they gonna scrapp the ending of the first anime and movie and change it to match with the story of the manga or...

it's a whole new storyline made as continuation of the 1st anime and movie, or....

Non of the above, and it completely new with just the character of FMA?

I never really got into Fullmetal Alchemist; so I can't comment on it.

My friend's however, are fans of the anime ( Shocked

) and they're saying there's to be a new anime to be released next year. So just be patient and wait for several months.

FMA ending sucked, and the movie was also pretty bad, so im not surprised that they want to revive the series again.
