| White Sox gonna win. Hands down. I don't want Astros to win, they feel like a little bug or pest that just bothers you all the time. I don't even like their ballpark, true ripoff of Safeco Field in Seattle, they got the roof, nearly the same left field design as well. Does anyone else notice Biggio's head is too small for his helmet? |

| White Sox up 2-0, Podsednik was formerly on the Seattle Mariners(my hometown). I saw his first at-bat as a Major Leaguer, he did not disappoint! Bases load, when this new comer Scott Podsednik comes up and lines a TRIPLE as his first major league at-bat. Damn good game, too bad the Mariners were stupid to not sign a new deal for him, I remember he nearly won Rookie of the Year while as a Brewer, but now it's nice to see him swing the lumber hard! |

| booyah! too bad the TV audience wasn't really interested. Nielsen ratings say this year's World Series was the lowest rating one ever! Lower than the previous mark set by the Anahiem Angels and the San Francisco Giants a few years ago. Oh well still was a good series I say, pretty intense and fun to watch. At least the baseball season is over, the Playoffs were taking time away from FAMILY GUY! gah! damnit! |

well, i didn't find this year's world series that entertaining so I haven't been watching it. The White Sox and Astros aren't my favorite teams, they don't even come close T_T And they postponed House M.D. for it _________________ PM some funny pick-up lines please > |

i guess i missed the boat on this one. i've always been a huge white sox supporter, it's just something about the little guy- the underdog- the "i wish i had timmy's bike, dad can you get me a bike like timmy's?". not to mention they haven't one a world series since... 1950's? or was it even earlier? anyhow, what a great series- too bad for clemens though. if i'm not mistaken he is already in the hall of fame anyway.
peace. |
