Bunnies, Ninjas, Old Men, and Overly-Busty Girls --- Random

Doukutsu-Monogatari

It's been awhile. A concept for a game I'm going to make. Look out for it (if I actually do something with it) The Arabic reads: "She doesn't like skirts". That's to explain the depressed expression. Smile

This isn't really anything to show off, but it's just a concept drawing for this comic I've been planning for nearly 3 years now. I think I'm good enough to make it, now, so...yeah. Just the profiles of the main characters. The guy in the middle usually wears those glasses you see under his name logo, by the way.

Yeah, I did make the arms and hands skinny and small, respectively. She's a random character.

My first try at a girl's figure in tight clothing (I'm no good at anatomy, as you can see). I screwed up, but I thought I'd show you anyway.

It's Father Gas. Need I say more?

There are more, but I figure you need some time to, eh, "absorb" these and give good criticisms.

All of them are pretty well done, but they all seem like novice levels. You got some detail with the picture, but you need to work a bit on the faces. I can tell you don't really like to focus on the face because you drew strider a few times and he hides most of his face Razz

Well, I'm worried about ruining Spyder's face (yeah, he's intended to be a spoof of Strider), so I hide it most of the time, yeah.

I'm scared of drawing female faces because, as you can tell, I have almost no experience with female anatomy at all. The three girls I made up there are all plain and have unnatural bust sizes because I have no clue how to draw average breasts. Neutral

They seem like a novice's work because I just started to learn about thickness of lines, clothing folds, poses, etc. I always used to draw characters at either 3/4 angle or looking directly forward. I have no experience with shading.

Well, these are the first steps, I guess...thanks for your comments.

Well, they are ok I think... somehow, they are qite rough, not so carefully done or something... the idea is great, but I suppose these are done in a rush...

I did all of these in school (during lessons, mind) with a pen. Errors couldn't be corrected, so yeah, this was pretty much a rush job. I can do better, really. Not much, but better, for sure.

Natural looking breasts? for me it works keeping them smaller than 1/2 the size of the head, done ^_^

Achcha...that makes sense. Girls in reality, however, usually have wide hips (except for those who are skinny, o' course). Smile

Thanks for the advice. Not that it shows many curves, but check out my Claire - 1 vs. 2 post for an idea of what I do when I actually try for more than 10 minutes (not that it's great, but it's better than these, I'm sure)...

Argh, i didint wanted to post again so fast because it may look like spam, and ruin my perfect record ( XD ) but, athletic girls usually have smaller hips and wider shoulders. I live on a coastal city, so we have lots of surfer girls and swimmers and water sports, and can tell you, it doesnt matters that much in how the shoulders are built, when i meant "girly" i meant the delicate type, i hope you get what i mean.
