ok everyone has heard of ying and yang...it's basically the balance to life right?~! just how the elements balance each other out and no 1 element in more powerful than the rest.
as Ed from FMA would put it, it's equivalent exchange. well wat i want to know is does the good in ur life balanced with the bad? i mean good and bad should equal each other out according to this ying&yang theory right?!
so list anything which u think was equivlant during ur life time..i guess u can think of it as a karma ques.
ex: u could've made fun of a friend. then later some1 made fun of u.
it could even be like u said u didn't believe in karma and then all of a sudden ur bike broke <happened to my friend.
______
wat's confusing is that ppl say u get wat u deserve..and others say it hits u ten fold. in my opinion nothing is truely "equal"..the bad seems to out weigh the good in my opinion~! _________________

| I believe in karma and yin and yang and all those others things. I think although you may not notice it, good things always always cancel out the bad. even if it is very tiny things. |

| I believe Ying & Yang and Karma to a certain extend. It seems like whatever things I do, their is ultimately a consequence or an effect. Whether its any decisions I make or the things I do. It always or usually surcomes to a final action. |

its like that saying, everything has an equal and opposite reaction. karma, yin and yang. it all definitely exsists. _________________ CAIN is MY whore. touch him and die.

I dont understand what you mean by that. How is this like a religion? There is no worshiping involved it is just your opinion on a force unknown. btw nice new avatar and sig. |

| To me, it's all the same... it's like Shinto Shrine, or something like that, where Ying Yang is practiced, as a way to exorcise the evil... |

ok ppl are stil on topic..but still....most of u are doing this all wrong. i ask if u guys believe in balance in life...and give an EXAMPLE of this balance. the main point is to post ur experiences that appear to balance out...or where the bad out weighs the good or vice versa~! _________________

I belive that there's some kind of balance maybe not in the way we think but I belive that it's there. In life I don't think we can see a balance between the good things and the bad things. And I don't think it works that way either... how should I explain it world balance maybe. Point is I don't think it's something we can understand with our minds or way of thinking.
I can't really think of any ying yang moments at the moment. So I'll add one later when I remember one |

I don't really believe in Yin and Yang. I think that there is some sort of duality to things, like for example, if there is darkness, then there must also be light and viceversa. They are both necessary to each other. However, Yin and Yang is more complicated than that. To be frank, I don't believe in Yin and Yang because I really don't care about it and its additional philosophical baggage. I think that the consideration I've made above is enough for me to move on with my life. _________________

i used to believe in the ying yang theroy, but then my life went from alright to personal hell, and hasn't really changed in the last few years, but i still believe that every action has an equal opposing action at least when it comes to science, but life, i believe you make you own lucky breaks. _________________ [img:350:100:b9d927e767]http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y104/tehalbino/gaara2.png[/img:b9d927e767] |

i dont believe in yin and yang. i dont think the world works in binaries where things balance their opposites. and also blieving in ying and yang requires the person to posit or assume values in objects/actions that exist independent of any judgement. for example nothing is inherently evil > rather, people label something as evil.
this is just what i think and im not very sure if i understand yin and yang properly. i cant really think of an example right now but when i do ill post it up
edit: is yin and yang the operation of binaries? im not sure i understand it fully. can anybody explain it to me?

i believe in a kind of yin and yang, but its not so much good and evil
its more order and disorder (chaos)
a kind of balance between needing to be given direction and the ability to make our own decisions
and someone was talking about yin and yang having to be founded in religion, tell me this, even if you don't believe in any religion, do you still have a basis for what is right and what is wrong?
right and wrong are just two other names for good and evil,
i'm an agnostic, as well, but refusing something because you think it has some basis in religion is foolish.
all religions have something good to say, take those things and learn from them
don't be a mindless follower because you are told be be _________________ [img:500:184:c0d8dc4eaa]http://kontek.net/LizardDude/ManagerSig20bacon.jpg[/img:c0d8dc4eaa] |
