Well it is true that it looks like that this anime is upping it's fanservice a bit. Look at when that RUC agent changing into her suit Razz

Expression on Roy when Solty said "Papa, I love you" to him is pricelss!! But moreover, we got some insights on what Solty is (a 100% resemble, which was unthinkable in the "current" tech) and what Solty was (a weapon, generic huh? Razz

)

Well Roy is certainly trying very hard not to turn back to what he was, which is a loving father.

More BGC action in ep 4 Very Happy

the 2nd set of suits they had to wear in BGC 2040 made them have to get naked and then have this mud like stuff get poored all over them something like what we saw in this ep when she was putting on the power suit.

Solty pwn that guy good.

im assuming that rud created solty..and the thing is..how can they not recognize her..after all..wasnt it their creation?

roy also learns that solty isnt so innocent as she seems. The fact that she can kill a guy if she needs to is very apparent.

Gonna be interesting to see how ruc handle ep 5. They're catching on to how special solty is. lol and yea the suits do remind you of bgc. Very Happy

About Solty's Ear:
A bit similar to Mahoro's Hair but this is an ear and not the hair... as much as I think it is weird... having those ears to use as a Radar is even more surprising...

About Her Ass:
Well... I wonder does she has those special functions? I mean... all those foods have to end up somewhere isn't it?

About Her Statement:
That "Papa, I love you" is indeed priceless, it just recall me of the MASTERCARD advertisement about how priceless is this stuffs... yet again... the surprise look on Roy after that statement is rather amusing...

About Her and Her Father Relationship:
Well... I think the Father-daughter relationship here is much better compare to Nina Wong and her Father Sergay Wong in Mai-Otome...

About the release of ep5:
The more we complain, the more we hunger for it... might as well go watch other release and be patient...

About Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040:
Woah~ This is really an old series... I recall watching the series years ago... erm but indeed... those RUC Girls did copied this series... I kinda miss Nana... erm... the Computer Geek in the team. ^^

Bump for ep 5 rantings

The Swimsuit episode Laughing

Kinda funny how the RUC agents scramble up against Rose and Solty to get that emerald back. Especially the part where that tanned girl uses rubber band and bikinis to fire projectiles at the emerald Laughing

And then the part where Solty got that emerald from the little girl easily. I smacked my head on that one.

A fun episode, feast for the eyes and many laughs, yet not totally pointless. For Rose and Solty's friendship is now confirmed, and that masked man's remarks in the end who seems to be the leader of the RUC agents about finding "something interesting"

Sidenote: Pretty nice music in the background. I think it almost qualifies itself as an insert song. And Roy's indifference to the situation that they are in are rather funny in itself

Hm, haven't taken a look at any anime since Trinity Blood finished.

I've heard some mixed comments regarding this anime. As of this moment, I'm BTing Episode 5, so is it worth it to hunt down the previous 4 episodes?

hi all, just checking in with the rest of the Solty fans here. I'm only up to episode 4 at this point, so I had to skip over most of the posts before here to avoid spoilers.

Anyway, initial thoughts: very similar to Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040 as many of you had said. Slip in a little Cowboy Bebop (seems to be a trend these days) and some Last Exile (crazy vehicles) with a touch of Gad Guard (backgrounds and art style) and viola, we got one of the best new shows of the season (behind Mai-Otome and Eureka Seven, of course, haha).

I love how this series is progressing. We are introduced to many characters very early on, but having no problems keeping everyone straight. The dialogue and events seem to occur naturally and fluidly. I'm afraid to speculate anything right now only because what I really want to do is sit back and enjoy the ride. If the pacing keeps up like it has been so far, this could turn out to be a great series.

That blond RUC security girl sounds a lot like a Mai-HiME character. Anyone know the name of the girl? I needs to do some research or it will drive me nuts everytime I hear her speak.

ep 7

Hmmm, looks like it was a ploy to get Solty to "work with them" all along. Well, I think Roy is not pressuring enough, until it is too late that is, when in the end, even Rose said sorry for involving Solty. But looks like he's getting the hang of having Solty in his house though, when he said "Don't involve Solty." And from the preview, looks like she going to stay in their house again?

Sidenote: Well, all the characters are now introduced, at least one of them still partially. Hope this one will kick into full story mode anytime soon them.

Sidenote 2: Pretty nice, how Rose tricking him into "letting her stay" Laughing
