Any one known when ADV plans on releasing the DVD. I imagine it is a ways off, but if anyone knows I appreciate it.

I do not know about the R1 releases, but R2 release of the first DVD is on 21st Oct 04. The R1 release should definitely be after that by a few months.

looks like they have another one of those mutants.... and it looks like they might use the 2nd one to get the first one?

I didn't get the little girl with the dog at all.. she wasn't afraid of all that blood. Weird.

Such a sadistic show.... I LOVE IT!

Oh Yeah, it is gore. Should I say that this serie should be rated 18+?
I mean most violent animes just show blood, but this one shows in detail all the mutilated bodies.

And it suits well with the gothic music, doesn't it?

The only objection is I think the violence didn't go very well with the cuteness of the characters (the artwork I mean).

IMO the violence fits contrasts nicely with the cuteness and makes it even more disturbing. I guess these dark shows interspersed with cuteness is being done more and more nowadays, but never to this degree.

Well, what i meant was that the artwork was more like for a Shoujo anime.
Anyway i think this one breaks the traditional anime (who has really thought of something like a cute cat-girl killing like a Berserk).

Overall I like it, because it was a change to see something unexpected. Very Happy

Ya, I just watched the raw. My Japanese isnt great, but after a few viewings, I got the jist of what happened. Would still like to see a sub from a group though.

We again get a few ecchi/cute scenes like chobits style.. and then when Nyu is cleaning the floor.. she slips and hits her head...

Kouta hears the fall from the other room and rushes her up help Nyu.. or Lucy now.... poor guy =P

The other Diclonius arrives in town to hunt Lucy.

Wow, is there anywhere we can download this subbed? Though it's licensed, I'm sure there'll be ppl subbing this. From the looks of it, it's damn good! Can't wait for DVDs to be released, I think I'll still buy it even after watching fan-subs. Violence + echi = sure hit! Twisted Evil
