| I myself dl and buy anime. It is all up to the person how they view this subject because some may agree or disagree to dling anime. If we don't dl, how we would we know if the anime is any good to buy? Then again, the anime we are dling may never make it to the states. My 2 cents! |

well.. now that i think about i feel kinda guilty.. i always DL anime without buying the dvd.. but it's hard to find complete sets of the anime dvd.. and i dont like watching something not complete.. and besides anime dvd is so very very expensive.. and dont you think its human nature to think >>> "if i can get it for free why should i spend such a lot sum of money to buy it" <<< this way?!
and people said that it's okay as long as we didnt distribute them or sell them, right?! |

| i dont think downloading anime is bad. its like one piece i could watch it on tv but the tv version is so trash i would rather shoot my self in the leg |

Dont think so. Most people download anime and oif they like it they buy it (that if they have the money). And is not simple to get anime in my country, not even cheap. Thats my only way of watching anime, i would die without my pc.
And even if they pass anime in tv, the dubed version sometimes really sucks and you have to dowload it to watch the real thing. |

well i think that if you dload all the time and never buy any anime on dvd you should be hacked and all anime removed but if most of the time you buy it its alright because there are some animes that are just to sacred to dload like one anime that i love titled BERSERK if i knew someone that dloaded that anime i would just beat the living hell out of them
its better if you dload part of an anime as a teaser for you to go buy it
or i can see it as being ok if you cant find that anime for sale anywhere
i know of a site that will sell you anime for very cheap cuz lets face it $20 for a dvd that consists of 4 episodes just isnt cool
FOR LOW COSTING ANIME www.iloveasiandvds.com they sell full 24 episode series from like $18-$30 they even sale long series like naruto and rurouni kenshin i know that they sell berserk for like $19 and i got mine for $120 from a convention
when i found out about that site i was mad but since i liked berserk so much i couldnt stay mad for to long
so check out that site you'll cry when you see the prices so LOW

I don't hink DLing anime is bad. but DLing movies IS.
The reason I DL animes is that I don't want to spend my hard-earned $$$ to a series that I won't like.
One more reson is...IF I can't find the title I'm looking for I can probably DL it fro somewhere. especially those long forgotten series.

Anyone who downloads anime with any kind of regularity and doesnt buy at least one DVD with the same regularity is a bastard(excluding children with no $$$). SUPPORT THE INDUSTRY YOU /*insert... whatever your imagination*/.
(oh and I know that fansubs are sometimes better, but thats not an excuse to keep the anime industy in America from growing)
