Oh by the way, HI eisenmeteor, your the new forum mod right? Nice to meet you. By way I assume your a .hack fan by your Avatar. Do you know .hack/gu comes out Nov. 14. Its one the games that I've slated to do a review, for this site.
I would also like to inform anyone else that since i'm the new Game Reviewer for A-Source you'll be seeing more posts from me, concerning what games we should review or whether to have certain spotlight articles concerning video game culture. _________________ Go Gitaroo-Man, go fight the mighty piano ships with your mighty Guitar AXE!

I totally love Yoshimitsu's new outfit in this one. His second outfit is just awsome, he is Cthulhu! I always use the edit color #2 that makes his Cthulhu head part green. I love it when the wind makes his head jiggle. hehehe.
I'd have to say, this version of Yoshimitsu's design is my all time favorite out of all yoshimitsu's in Soul calibur and Tekken series. Althought that weird spiky looking mask version in the first outfit is just ugly. _________________ [IMG:258:200]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v435/ypark/sigs/3fsn.png[/img]

Well I guess you could say Im new only been a mod for about 2 months now or so. I was wondering what kind of admin you were, I was pretty sure I half knew most that were admins then you came along and I went... Huh?
Also you might be happy to know Im a Ky player as well so you not alone... I spent a lot of time on it but I actually still suck at it. What can I say I've been way to lazy to actually experiment with what kind of high damaging combos I can pull
Hell yeah Im a .hack fan... the only problem is I didn't really like the four first games. Sure the storys ok but the system, way to proceed and so on was not verry good also have alot of other complains about them. But Im looking forward to .hack//GU alot since it seems to be alot better. I pretty much went OH MY GOD when I saw the trailer. Now the only problem is whether it'll be released here in Europe or not, Im kind of worried about it.
Ok back on topic: I've been wondering is the option of changing the voices to japanese in SC3? Since they had it in SC2 I got quite used to it would just feel way to strange if they didn't have the option of changing it in SC3. Also is there any bigger difference between Nightmare and Siegfried? Or are they just basicly the same character with small subtle diffrences?
No you cant set the difficulty in story mode. I am getting the hang of the AI now. I can beat the game fairly easily with all characters. Yes even Astaroth. But surprisingly enough, my best character is still Himitsu, the ninja that I have created. the Kunai is a good weapon, but once you unlock the Katana and Shuriken, THEN you start whomping on people left and right. So far I have a combo that does 83 damage, which is decent damage for a really fast attack.
Has anyone else fought the TRUE last boss of the game? Its not Abyss...
yes i have, abyss is a moron. why the heck, there is 2 zasalamel, did you beat the game with Ivy, wow. so hot. 2 of them. making ahah nicese. turn on.

You can change to either English or Japanese language.
I just wish they had this option in Xenosaga games.
Siegfried and Nightmare are very similar but the way they swing their sword is all different. Siegfried and Nightmare were both in the game in the first Soul Calibur. For some reason I prefer Nightmare's way. _________________ [IMG:258:200]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v435/ypark/sigs/3fsn.png[/img]

Wow, you unlocked every single piece of armor, all 20 characters, all missions on all difficulties, AND all in two days? If you did all that, then Im impressed. If not, I dont think you have completed the game yet. Do you have KOS-MOS created yet?
eisen-->you can switch the languages, but the Japanese voices are the same for everyone in SC III as in SC II.
sliver kistsune-->I dunno, I sort of like Yoshimitsus Tekken 5 costumre better. Really you like Nightmare better? I found Seigfried not only to be WAY harder, but just a better character overall. Nightmare, IMO, lost a lot of his good moves when he left Seigfrieds body. Now Seigfried has taken over top position in the big ass sword fighting department. Well actually I sort of find the Iron Sword style in Character Creations to be better...
byrc-->Hmm thats an idea. Maybe I will write a review. It sounds like it would be fun. Plus what I posted was just a short version of what I actually wanted to say. So you are a REAL GG fan who actually plays regularly. Sweetness. Ky is my second best character, first is Dizzy. Post in the GG thread everyonce and a while.
I have spent my latest time playing SC III doing chronicles of the sword mode. I am surprised about how addicting it really is. It really is like a large mini game that could stand on its own, sort of. It even has a decent story. Plus, ring outs dont mean that you win. It just takes a chunk of damage off. THAT is cool. I hate ring outs. If I have the chance, I never do it. Its so sneaky and underhanded. I prefer to beat my opponent for reals. _________________ Miku Miku!!

Does it still got the mode where you gain better weapon for the characters?
You have 3 stores where you buy weapons, armours, and variety of "items" which consists of illustrations, weapon demos for characters and unlocking job classes.
There are loads of characters to unlock, and seemingly endless possibilities in character creation feature. I've already made some awsome catgirls and hot ninja girls. My catgirl is just too awsome, I think I'll post pictures of my characters later. Maybe somebody should start a soul calibur III custom character picture thread. _________________ [IMG:258:200]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v435/ypark/sigs/3fsn.png[/img]

wow, yes i got everything, including the kos and so on, and all additional charaters, valerie and amy is the best and hwang is the best.
but u can't see the names of the english voice actor/ies, when you press r in the charater profile. only for the jp, unlike soul calibur 2

Has anybody seen those character creation guides? It has a pretty good list of different characters (from other games or animes).
Personally I think those are pretty useless effort. Why follow someone else's methods when you could achieve possibly better or more creative character. I mean those are all about pre-existing characters that you can follow its designs. Maybe it's just me, but I can pretty darn well make up a look-alike character myself. What's even better is to create my own original character that looks awsome all by itself. _________________ [IMG:258:200]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v435/ypark/sigs/3fsn.png[/img]
