Manga: Page 1-4 (well sorta) rough draft check it out

Hmm...not sure if this is the right forum to post this in, but it seems right.....anyways
As the title says I wanted to create some mangas but unfortunately it'll be very hard for one person to do it all alone. So I was wondering if any of you aritsts out there want to help me create the mangas. I need a lot of people with various skills(any skills).
The type of manga/stories that shall be made are going to vary depending on the groups decisions. If a member can think of an interesting story than we reserve that idea for later projects. Well, I think that' all I needed to say. I hope all of you, any of you, give this a try. Of course this will not be very professional, but it'll still be fun. If you are interested please tell me and list your skills, even if you feel as if you are yet that experienced. Thank you all for taking the time to read all of this. I know I like to write a lot of nonsense so I'm sorry about that.

EDIT:
Now, on with the subject. Well it seems that I have left this in the back for a while, but now I want to get it up and running. First task for the group(anybody can join in). I want to see what kind of things you guys can think up. Send me your stories via E-mail, PM or just post them here. The topic is a Love-Romance, school life that has to be relatively close to our time period. Besides that, let your ideas roam free! The story can be in any form meaning if your not good with words you can put it in another form such as manga or something.

And if there is anything you want to say or have a question about, go for it. Hope I get some good results. All your stories shall be put into a Poll to see which one we will work on. Even if this is during school season I hope you guys can spare some time to help out. Good luck!

Since I haven't started my own comic yet, I suppose I could help when needed. Do we need to pass any sort of trial to get in on this?

I know you said that "anyone" can come in, but when it comes down to the actual decision of who's going to work on what, skills actually do count. So that's why I'm asking --- will there be an evaluation stage?

I'm glad you guys are interested. And [CGY] yes it's perfectly fine if you only want to draw males, nothing wrong with that.

[Doukutsu-monogatari] I think I understand what you are saying and I think you're right. I'm not sure if this is considered a trial but I need people to tell me what they think their strong points are and maybe have a few sketches or pictures with it. I guess when I said, "anyone" I was meaning with a fair skill level at art or writing, some one with good tastes. I guess what I really meant was if you have good tastes and can help out with layout and critisizing if you are not good at art. Sorry if this still doesn't make sense.

By the way, what storyline do you have? Like, do you have any idea of what kind of manga you want to do?

Yes I do, but I was planning on discussing that with the members, but I guess I should let people get in on it. Sorry but this will only be a brief description of the story. Don't want to spoil anything, y'know? ^^

The story shall revolve around a male lead who's past is unknown. He is a mercenary ninja who goes around doing whatever for money. The story itself shall take place in a world know as Spheel: a world where monsters, gods, demon, and all other beings reside. Expect elves, dryads, sea monsters, beautiful goddesses and just about every other mythical creature.
Sorry, I'm having a hard time putting this into words so if you would like to know more please PM,AIM,e-mail or just post here. I'll at least try tell what type of story it is: Action, Drama, Romance, shounen-shoujo, heroism. I'll come back to edit this when I finish writing a good description.

Anyways the story is deeper than that (don't worry that's why I said his past was unknown). The "unknown" part isn't about him as a ninja but rather before he became a ninja...some hundred years before. Does this make it sound more intersting [Doukutsu-Monogatari]?.....btw what's cliche?

I can't really help you with the drawing, but I can comment about the plot sheet ,saying it's a little too general if you want to take this somewhere serious.

Before starting the actual drawing, I believe a somewhat more explained plot sheet is needed Razz

Thanks. That shouldn't be a problem if everyone is willing to give this a try. So I've decided, to make this into a Poll of some sorts. We shall work on a story that everyone feels more interested in. Hope more people willing to give this a try. And if not, I hope you guys are still going to stick with me Crying or Very sad

so is this manga basically a mercenary that goes kills any1 for $? i got a suggestion. so he kills and kills for money then 1 day he relized its wrong and he wants to change his wrong ways by protecting the ppl he cares about. and there should be a female character that he really likes and she always ends up in trouble and the main char always has to go save her. and where and when is the seting taking place?

im not much for drawing, but i can give u guys ideas if u want them.

a ninja dude that kills for money huh? why dont we change it so that one day he realises that he has to kill someone either close to him, or close to someone close to him. hmmm...made sense.

~or~
we have that kinda thing in spriggan, where he goes crazy and kills everyone that he works for or something.

or we could just say he befriends/ falls in love with the person (girl/boy) that he is supposed to kill, (maybe blind*) and realises that what he is doing is wrong and decides to protect that loved one. something like gantz when kei was told to kill his gf.

*someone being blind would make him feel pity, or sympathy. and ofcourse. the blind person would be very kind to him not knowing he is an assassin.

well, thats what i think. hmmm...ill think more about it at work.

I'm very impressed. You guys are getting really close to what I had in mind. Well, here's my take on this.
Yes he does go around and kill for money but he is not totally heartless. He does just about anything he can for money, even though he doesn't usually spend it that much (if you know what I mean ><)He usually takes on big jobs but can take little jobs on the side and sometimes do it for free, whatever it may be. Even though he goe around like that his real reason for his travels is to search for the Ancient Weapons (I just made that up. If you have any suggestions on the name, by all means tell me.)
Along his quest he shall encounter a brave young woman with a very polite demeanor (you know, like those very innocent, cute and kind young girls from various anime). Being a ninja that he is, he shall keep his identity for a while. After accidentally sleeping in the same bed as her and helping her rescue a child, she will hire him to be her bodyguard until she reaches the safety of the Holy City of Grendeyl. The young woman's name is Nina, she is a young priestess in training who ran awayfrom home because of an unknow reason. And....

I'll stop here since I don't know if you guys are interested or not. ( Man, I was on a role too!) The story is more complicated and has a lot more details but unfortunately I'm not good with writing long things short. Thanks guys![/code]
