Manga: Page 1-4 (well sorta) rough draft check it out

Haha sorry everyone! I have gotten sidetracked again! To make up for this I finished the first and the second page of the manga. Check it out and see what needs to be changed. Sorry you can't see the wrinting. i didn't want to make it big becasue it'll take a long time for people without cable internet. It's not like you'll be able to read my handwriting anywyas. =P This is how the characters shall meet. the 3rd page is on it's way. Any ideas let me know, ok? ^^ and if you want a full page just tell me ^^.

Alright, Now I need somebody to help me out with the background. I'm not very familiar with manga drawing styles so I'm not very good at this. I need somebody who has a good imagination and somebody who can draw/paint scenery fairly god. As you can see, my skills are not all that good when it comes down to background, and that is not a good thing because that's what makes the manga come alive.

The request I have for now is for some one to draw or paint a picture of a fantasy world. It can be anything, and you can use any reference you need. I'd really appreciate it if anybody will be willing do this. there is no time barrier so you can do it whenever you want. I really need a backgournd artist. And also some critics. Well the first two pages are out. Any comments or suggestions anyone?

Well, here is the third page...well kinda. Suggestionds and comments are welcomed.

Hm...I can't seem to think of somehing to put there in the last box....and the fourth page is just blankness. Well I can't expect to get help from you guys if you don't know what I'm trying to do so here I go...

[-First page-]
Male lead stumbles into nd Inn and accidentally sleeps with a woman. And of course, she thinks he is some pervert rapist. Male lead explains the reason for the misunderstanding.
[-Second page-]
Woman's friend comes and checks on her. Finds the male lead (Taka) in the room and is about to fight Taka. Taka tries to explain the situation to the woman's friend (Name please! >.< but for now lets call him Andi), but of course he won't have any of it. Andi lets him go and Taka talks to Innkeeper about the situation. Innkeeper offers to give back Taka's money but Taka refuses and just aked for a pillow and blanket, and falls alseep on bench. Woman (Nina) explains to andi the problem and telss him she's fine..(basically tells him to leave XD) Nina sneeks downstairs to check on her thouth-to-be assualter. He is dead asleep.
[Third page-]
Nina gets a closer look on her assualter and is startled when he starts speaking to her. Taka, not wanting any trouble, requests that she leave and tells her he is sorry for before. Taka thinks about asking her out for dinner the next night(note: the two badly drawn pictures on the right are supposed to be the moon, on top, and the sun rising, bottom). Next day Taka is out exploring the town (Pacifist City Argenta: one of the few places where there is no dominating religion, and humans and other creatures live alongside one another). Andi and Nina are out shopping during this festival (It's a spring festival. any suggesions on the name?). A boy and his mother are out looking around, the boy wants something to eat but the mother painly tells him she has no money. Taka, being a kind hearted guy buys some food and starts to follow the them.
Yea and it's kind of hard to draw him in the background, but I'll try. And here's how the fourth page is going so far....

[-Fourth Page-]
Nina and Andi have just finished their shooping and are heading for the food court. Nina finds Taka there with a woman and child and thinks that is his family. Andi spots him too and the two start to head toward them. Andi recognizes the woman, she is Lynele, a poor womanlooking after her son because her husband has gone off to serve a king and has not yet returned. Andi gets the impression that Taka is taking advandtage of Lynele and starts his fight once again. A woman comes running out of the forest and screams that a child has been taking by a demon into the forest.
And that is whats (supposed) to appen in the fourth page =P I'll get on it right away. Well tel me what you guys think, and please, suggestions are really appreciated!

whoa, a LOT of work sure has gone into that takasan-san.
theres a lot of detail, i reli dont think that u need a background, because that overdetail the backgrounds and itll become somethign more like an american comic than a manga. u know how in comics they put alot of detail into it right?
but so far so good.
just stick with teh important things for now, like characters, and objets.
dont latent it with too much detail. just enough to show where they are.
for example: the block pavement, make bigger rocks, instead of plenty of small ones. it cuts down the amount of work and the amount of hours u;ll spend on it.
the focus should be one the characters and story, not the background, so dont worry about it too much.

one more thing to trouble u with, im not one to read mangas too much, so i dont know which square to look at next. i was looking at the first page.
and i read from right to left, but didnt know what square to follow on to. Razz

overall, its coming alone great.

once you get lining done and a finished copy, I could do coloring for you. I would offer to do some art, but I dont have a scanner to get my drawings to computer with.

Wow, I totally forgot about this project. Looking good, Taka, although I can't really read what's going on since the lines are too light. Darken them up, and perhaps write a bit bigger (I'm guilty of small writing, too, so I understand how annoying it is to hear this bit from others).

Anyway, you know that I'm always here to help out. You've seen my art, haven't you? I think you've got a rough idea of what I can do if you did (although I can do really, really better if I sat down for a really huge project when I got in the mood).

Keep it up, and let me know when you need me.

Sorry, because I had no idea how manga went, i went ahead and did it the boxes from left to right, top to bottom, smaller boxes to larger bxes. I'm going to redo that because I don't like the feeling, from page 5 and so on I'll be drawing from left to right, top to bottom. Thanks^-^

Thanks [teh]. I have a request for you. Do you think you can make me a background. I want him to be standing in something like a bare land, something like a desert with cliffs. It's more like a dried lake bed rather than desert actually. And I want a clear blue sky with maybe trees in the back. You don't have to do it, I'm just thinking how I'm going to do the background. =P

Actually I have a request for you too (^o^) I was just wondering if you can come up with a monster for me, i need a type of demon living in the forest. A demon who feeds off the souls of young creatures. If you can i would like a front, back, side, and 3D view of the monster. But anything is fine. Alright that is all I can think of right now. Geez...since I don't have any school works I'm busy with drawing, but I don't mind this since this is something I want to do ^^

Hm...I thought this was more of a collaboration comic, but I guess this is okay. I want to enter this Anime-Source contest, anyway, so my time might be constricted for now.

As for the monster, were you thinking something like Death (Grim Reaper)? A bloated creature? Just give me a general idea of what sort of thing you want.

Actually that is what I was planning to do, but due to lack of participants it couldn't be that way. I would like to give that a try though, but the only issue with that is we aren't physically together working there. The only thing close to that is Open Canvas and I don't we all have access to that. So to compromise for that I was thinking I can send you guys the a copy of the rough draft and you can guys can modify it and then show it to the rest of the group via e-mail or just here. These pages are only the rough draft btw^^....even thought heavily detailed...=P well, sorry to make this short guys I have a bedtime..I know..sounds lame don't it? X_X
