What does Naruto see in Sakura?

hmm i really don't know..i suppose he just finds her attractive and intelligent. i guess he's too love struck to see her arrogant, bitter, inner self~!

well actually it says in the early ep. y he likes her when he transforms into saskue. She tells him that she just wants be recognized and noticed by him (him as in saskue). so just like how naruto wants to be noticed and appreciated for existng...so does sakura in a way~! it's just a weird twist~!

i guess he thinks they're alike in a way and share a common desire: to feel notcied~!

I'm going to put one big spoiler warning on this post. If you have not read/watched past the fight between Neji and Hinata in the Third round of the Chunin Selection Exams, then you may not want to read much farther. I'd use the spoiler tags, but it seems like too much writing to make it practical.




After Naruto's battle against Kiba and during Hinata's fight against Neji in the Chunin Selection Exams, it seems to me that even though Hinata still is unable to tell Naruto how she feels, the two do become closer.

We find out a bit about why Hinata likes Naruto, and we can see that it is a lot more than just a simple childhood crush, and that Naruto actually inspires Hinata and makes her want to improve herself. And we see that Naruto really begins to respect Hinata as a ninja and as a friend. He is actually told that Hinata watches him alot (but is still to dense to figure it all out '-_- *Sigh* What a dope. Its a good think I like underdog heroes).

The two really are similar in alot of ways. We are shown that in great detail. And when Neji calls Hinata a failure, it really gets Naruto riled up. And after Neji defeats Hinata, and she collapses, Naruto jumps right into the ring and Lee has to stop him from attacking Neji then and there. Naruto knows what its like to be looked down upon, so he is able to empathize with Hinata.

I dont know what the future holds for the relationship between Hinata and Naruto. Its definitely growing, but so is his relationship with alot of the characters. Though many still could not be concidered his actual friends, they are all starting to see that he has grown alot. Sasuke now conciders him to be a worthy opponent. Sakura now sees his strength. He and Hinata now have a bit of a connection. I think it could really go either way. [/spoiler]

naruto seems to like the agressive kinda girls, but maybe its because sakura usually acts cute so naruto dosent realize it,

I think that Sakura herslef is pretty cute, plus she is smart. And one thing is first love is something that you don't really give up on easily. =]

Well crush does not equal to love. It is true that it is a little bit off because Sakura does not have too many attractive femenine characteristics (at the end she even have the brute strenght of the fifth, scary). What does Naruto see her so good to like her? If it were me, i will chose Hinata. But i think that because Naruto is dummy he only thinks straightfoward so he likes Sakura because:

-She is famous in the academy (Probably a lot of guys declared to her during that time)
-Sakura likes Sasuke (Sasuke is like a brother for Naruto and the number one person he looks up to. So anything has to do with Sasuke, Naruto will stick his nose in it) You can also call it jelousy because Naruto wanted to have the fame, girls and strength Sasuke had.
-He knows Sakura for a while, so he likes the way she is. (But still, i do not see much good femenine cualities in her)

However, it is interesting that Sakura is starting to like Naruto more and more. Maybe she will love Naruto without noticing herself.
