what would be your anime weapon?

weapons, love em or hate em, anime has a bigger and the most diverse selection of weird things to make your enemys go boom with. my anime weapon would be a dual bladed great sword with retractable blade on one side and a satilite beam on the other!

I'd probably end up with some kind of katana or other sword. But the weapon I think would be the coolest would be the Gunblade from Final Fantasy VIII. A perfect fusion of a sword and a gun, my two favorite kinds of weapons merged into one.

I'm old fansioned in my appreciation of the weapons so i would have to say that i prefer a good old fasioned katana to most weapons as it is the most (in my view) honourable weapon created. you know ere u stand with it either dicing or being diced. Smile

I prefer Belldandy though to become my weapon.... I think she will change into a holy sword instead of wind Razz

i would love to have the gloves with strings that walter has from hellsing, those would be so awesome, you could take out an opponent without them seeing you, take down large groups of enemies and disarm other people incredible easily.

I really like the classic samurai sword. Its jsut so sleek and versatile. I dont like teh really big ones like in Rave or ff7. I much prefer the sleek look of it. I also think its my preference for swords because I fell in love with the Kenshin series after watching Trust and betrayal.

I would go for Coud's custom Ren react sword from erementar gerad or kyo's wind sword muramasa from samurai deeper kyo.

Cant beat the classics:

A absolutly huge sword about twice the size of the guy using it.

Every anime/manga with weapons in it has at least one charecter with a sword.

The realy big one would be cool coz i'd not only have a big chopper of a beast but also coz dragging somthing that big around the place all the time would show of my strengh.

im not into the whole slicing people up business. too gory and dirty for me. old fashioned is cool but redundant in my eyes. im always slightly annoyed when i see the main character of a show carrying a massive sword around when there are perfectly good guns on offer. and dont you people say style...its a sword - dont fetishise what you kill people with

i think it'd be cool to have one (or more) of those Tachikoma/Fuchikomas from Ghost in the Shell. They're small, capable in many areas and you can even have a conversation with them! oh yeah, and they can go invisible with that camoflage technology.
