Lion Heart in Disk One?

If i remember correctly you can get lion heart in disk one.

you need the ability Card Mod from Quezacolt
you need the ability ammo-refine from ifrit

You have to play cards and tons of card games.
get your first cards from the guy on the second floor by the elevator

get ifrits cards by defeating ifrit
get mini mog by defeating the kid running around
get quistis card after you get ifrit and mini mog play the guy in the back in the lunch room.
get 20 elnyole's cards by playing the guy at the back in the luch room that has quistis card.

12 pulse ammo
you need 10 elnyole's card to get 1 energy crystal
use ammo-refine to get pulse ammo
1 energy crystal ammo-refine to 10 pulse ammo
you need 2 energy crystal so you need 20 elnyole's card

1 adamantine
you can refine one of the brothers cards into adamintine or fight adamantoise the beach across from dollet. they are hard so i suggest you use sophies limit break "rapture" or "the end" which ever comes first to kill the adamantoise while in invincible moon.

4 Dragon fang
you can fight grendel after the second laguna's dream. go back to the forest you had the dream and run around the edge or cliff of the mountian that is facing galbalian garden. the least you can be is level 25 and below so you will have an easier time getting dragon fang. it drops 1 per battle and if your lucky it will drop 2. the grendal seems to be by only cliffs.

the other way of getting dragon fang is by fighting a mid-high level

I think this is how you can get it? But is Lion Heart Really That Important To Get?

Why bother to get it in disk 1 when you can get it near the end of disk 2 or disk 3? Unless you want a challenge or your a diehard hardcore final fantasy 8 fan i wouldn't bother. All of the items look correct to me, your gonna have difficulty fighting the adamantine at such low levels and it'll take a while to get 20 enyole cards.

it is useful to have the lionheart, as it enables you to fight bosses above your level, e.g. beating the tonberry king in disc 2(level down +up ability!), as it is the first weapon that can do the big consecutive damages, but it is better to get it in disc 2, as you can do it without much effort

Tonberry's can be defeated even without the use of Lionheart. as long as you already have access to pilot Balamb Garden you'll be fine.

but I haven't obatined Lionheart on Disc 1 since I don't have any time to waste to obtain something that will be easier to get later on.

Meh, I just remember playing cards to get the second best of squall's weapons. That was relatively easy to get.

for me i think that a superb weapon and move like lion heart should be reserved for the later parts of the game.try getting better at junctioning before attempting to strike for a characters final weapon.it'll be better i think
