Eventhough these drawings are a bit sucky but heck, it's my first try...

Those pictures are not sucky at all, they are quite good and the colour helps the pictures stand out. You can always critise yourself but you shouldn't put yourself down as a failure, more practice = more better pictures.

I agree with [DrJackal] don't put yourself down. I think the drawings are fine but, lol, please don't make them blurry anymore. People's eyes might start to hurt (made me feel a little dizzy). Neutral

Yay the pictures don't hurt my eyes anymore, the cging is a bit rough but it's ok for a cg amateur and with more practice you'll make it more smooth and better, never give up and post more if you want.

The pictures look even better when they're not blurred. They look fine and it shows you have a good way of drawing, but could use some colour/shadow work.

No such thing as a failure in these kind of things, its all opinions.
Only things you can fail at are things involving numbers, impossible goals, and that one date with Jessica Alba......

Hehe, I blur my pics too. Cause they hide all the imperfections.

But you can't hide forever right? Why don't you try making a pic with a big dpi (resolution) and then when you're done with it, resize he image.

Resizing an image helps improving the overall quality of the pic. That's why I choose big pictures when I make my banners, so that when I resize them, the pic gets clearer and more refined~ Very Happy

for a newbie, those drawings are great! Brush up a bit on the CGing and the picture will be great! Remember, practice makes perfect! I started with one, then more and more, i slowly improve when i colour. don't worry, you'll be a great artist in the near future.
