| I am still relatively new to anime. My roommate turned me onto it last October and since then I have watched a few of her shows like Knights of Ramune, Saber Marionette J, Trigun and Cowboy Bebop, as well as some on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim like Inuyasha, Lupin the III and Case Closed. My own recent collection has included the full Fansubs versions of Wolf's Rain and Scrapped Princess before their were licensed and I am working on getting every episode of Monster as it is released. Now my question is this.... what are your favorite unlicensed Animes? I am personally very displeased with the English dubs that become available of the Japanese animes and would like to watch any decent show before it is licensed, ruined and then left unavailable for viewing it's purer fansubed form. So please.. I know I am new to these boards but please respond and let us all know what your favorite unlicensed animes are. |

You should probably list the kinds of anime series you are interested in because there is a TON of stuff that you might like this season. _________________

| I have seen reviews and screen shots from Full Metal Alchemist and I have to agree that it looks excellent. Unfortunatly, for me at least, I will probably never get to grasp the true dignity of it once it is english dubbed and re-released. Now to answer the other question... I loved Wolf's Rain and I love Monster. Scrapped Princess was pretty good though at times it seemed that the battle scenes were drawn out and a little anoying... I like a great story with limited battle fluff. Interesting charicters are a must... I am not nor will I ever be a fan of shows like Pokimon, DBZ, Yugio and the like... many have told me that I need to watch .Hack.... of this I am weary due to these same individuals love of the above mentioned series I do not enjoy.... so to wrap up my likes.. I will say I like dark, story oriented animes with charicters who slowly develop over the course of the show. |

| I'd recommend you watch: Bleach, Naruto, Gundam Seed: Destiny, and Ah! My Goddess. Those are 4 of the better anime series which are currently unlicensed but they are still airing in Japan. You can get BT links from animesuki. |
