Which FINAL FANTASY movie do you want to see ?

Out of the entire list here are the ones I would like them to make a movie out
of or not to make one out of. I'm only including the ones I have beat

FF VII-Advent children was great but I want more
FF VIII-God help me if there is a movie for this one. Worst FF game ever
FF IX-It would be cool but to me it seemed like they closed the story line well
FFX / X2-It's to much like a movie already
FF XI-Well I just didn't like the movie
FF XII-Hasn't been released so I don't know

Xand X-2 becasue it had a good plot and is already like a movie but needs to be exspanded

I would go with FFVIII: Seeing Squall Leonhart performing the last limit break upon the enemie in the movie,(lion heart I think; can't remember so long never been playing Razz

) would be great. I can almost feel, the gunblade striking consecutively without stop. I can almost see Rinoa and Squall love for each other. But then, this is only a dream if the Square Soft people decided not to make the movie... Sad

The latest show of the Final fantasy VII: Advent Children that sent shockwaves of excitement to the Final Fantasy Fans/Soldiers. Was nicely done, really cool CG animation. Wink

But sadly very stale dialogue, that quickly becomes a bore Mad

FF8 because the story plot is one of the best ever in the entire world of game history..And the battle animation graphics was absolutely uber cool as well.. FF10 wasn't too bad either,but 9 was quite a disappointment.. Laughing

FF7AC was ok, but really I rather play final fantasy as a game than watch them as film.
But if it has to come out, FF8 is probably most suitable. FF8 could probably work as a live action too, though I'd hate to see one to actually come out.

I can agree that FF7 needs to come out again. It's coming out for the PS3, which is pretty good, but then I've gotta shell out the money for the system and the redone game, which isnn't so good.
If FFX hadn't spun off into X-2, then I'd want to see a movie. But X-2 was just so sugary-sweet that I couldn't even finish it. Every time Rikku said anything, she'd raise her fist into the air and do a little dance...ugh.
I could probably watch VIII, and maybe III; but we've seen what happens when Square decides to make a movie just for the sake of making it.

They should really concentrate on the games they are making instead of having little side projects with movies. AC was good but compared to the game the story wasn't on par.

Nope, they're completely redoing FFVII. It makes sense because
a. A visual upgrade would do the game better justice
b. Looking at the Advent Children thread, I can tell that the game is old enough that many haven't played it.
c. Square is gonna make SERIOUS cash by doing this.

But as lame as it may sound, I would have been happy if they'd just ported it to the PSP.

The problem with continuing or redoing stories is that they can't live up to the expectations placed on them. No sequel or movie-based game or game-based movie will ever be as good as we want. Tekken 4 was criticized in a review for being too different from Tekken 3. Tekken 5 was criticized for being to similar to Tekken 3. Advent Children was criticized for having too much action and not enough plot. So Dirge of Cerberus will probably be criticized for having too much plot and not enough action.

Why don't we hope that Monolith will make Xenosaga Movie.
Yeaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh.
I want to look KOS-Mos,Shion,Jin,and Rubedo.
Especially Kos-MOS and Shion.
