Avatars please

I'm already aware that A-S has a very nice collection of avatars (and i'm very thankful^_^).

But i'd like to know if there is gonna be a more extencive gallery of pictures to choose from because a load of the avatars i try to direct link need to be downloaded and avatars here cant be loaded from comp files.

this way more people would be able to have avatars without the hassle.

It would also be cool if there were a selection of sig pics to choose from coz they dont work on my comp AND yes i have tried tagging, pasting, dragging and all that. But i'm not so fussed about that.

This is just a suggestion. Anyways, thanks for reading this and sorry if there is already a thread about this.

If you want cute girls and guys as your avator, just PM me. I suppose everyone know that I have a huge collection of them. A-source is already quite complicated without a new image gallery...

There was actually a discussion about an anime gallery, some agreed some disagreed and we came to the conclusion that it'll just be a reproduction of all the other anime galleries out there. If you didn't know already, if you directly link offsite, that's called hotlinking, it's a bad thing. It's because you're stealing another sites bandwidth.

So, if you do see a nice picture and make it as an avatar or signature, you can always host it on our server which you can find here. CGY has been doing this, and uploaded a lot to our server actually.

As for the signature gallery, I'm not sure if that can be done. phpBB has only a limited selection of options. I really doubt there's a gallery for a signature, otherwise users will not be able to add text in their signature.

If you want custom signatures, avatars, you can always ask me, and I'll gladly make you one (I'm quite bored nowadays). I'm sure meganekko feels the same way as I do.

Wow, didnt know hotlinking was a no no O_O~ very comp illiturat!

Well i'll try to upload lke you recomend, or get a friend to do it (all this comp linguo makes no sens to me).

well you could always make the avatar yourself, and then upload it onto say.. photobucket or something and then use that link... that should be okay.. well if its not then i'm screwed too .. cause i'm doing it =D... but yeah, thats probably a good idea to do, upload it yourself on a site where you have a gallery or something, not just directly hotlink it from another site..

I think This link will help you.

If you're to lazy to click there, then above this message (and below the forums conventions reviews new releases etc. links) are links such as Forum FAQ, Search, and Usergroups. You want to click on "Profile", there you will ssee at the very bottom an "avatar control panel". You then click on "show gallery" and select an avatar from the many anime titles.

Remember to click "submit" in your Profile page.

That is how you select an avatar from our collection. If you would like your own personal avatar. You would have to upload your image onto a server such as photobucket.com or even our server. And then copy n' paste the url into the box labeled "link to off-site avatar". To upload it to a-s's server, click here.
